Hey, I just have a quick question for you. I’m torn on pursing my army aviation in the guard to start or going straight to active duty. Any suggestions? I’ve heard it will be more “guaranteed” in the guard. Thank you. I’m going WO route as you suggested and can do that in both active or reserve. I am in Colorado with a need for pilots (the recruiter says so) thank you for your time.
From what I understand, if you go WO through guard then you will know which aircraft you will be flying, whereas Active Duty pilots will have to go through selection for their aircraft.

Hey Damion, can any Heli Pilot go to the 160th, or can only Pilots who fly Chinooks, Little Birds and Black Hawks go?
I know a guy that was an Apache pilot that applied for the 160th, and they picked him up and trained him on the black hawk.
