I got the new model of this. I use this for my quail and have had great success, my temp and humidity readings are very accurate (tested separately). My Ambient temps are usually in the mid 70's here in Southern CA. The Quail turner plate 3d printer files are available online free to download from the original designer. With the new plate it can hold 45 quail eggs. I have been running this incubator non stop for a few months now and it doesn't skip a beat. Very happy!

Wow I've had the opposite success! We barely get any birds hatched, thus this seems to be a sign that every model of Nurture Right 360 is different and some are more sturdy than others. Not fun knowing that your new incubator might be faulty.

I'm happy with the two Nurture Right 360 incubators that I am using. It's true that there are some work arounds, but with a little ingenuity you should be able to adapt and overcome. First of all, check the temp and humidity. Make the corrections. I have good hatch rates for chickens and ducks using the egg turners. For quail I remove the egg turners.
I agree with Terry that they do have some shortcomings for a novice, but they are still very useful.

I will add that the 360 changed the design and I have been using for about a year now for chicken/quail and my hatch rates are much better now. It hold Temps much better now and they fixed the fan issue. Unfortunately they did not redesign the lid when it comes off and the chicks still go everywhere 🤦‍♂️. Just wanted to throw that in since I see some people are worried about there purchase. That older model was crappy i will say that. Either way thank you Terry as always enjoy the information. I have the newer version of this incubator (power plugs are in a different location). I did the same test with checking how far the eggs turn and it's closer to half way rather than what it shows like in your video. Used a GoVee thermometer and found the temp to be off around a half degree. Humidity was pretty much spot on. It does still have the issue where the eggs can bind up from time to time, but with the replacement quail tray, it's a non-issue.

There's no such thing as a fool proof incubator in this price range. Not everyone has the money for these incubators that people say are the best--the Borotto, the Brinsea, the GQF, all have great reputations and all will set you back a bundle of money because they're made for professionals or very serious hobbyists rather than people starting out. Get one you can afford. Get some extra thermometers that you can calibrate to stick in there to make sure the thermostat is reading accurately and adjust accordingly, and play with it a few days to make sure you can keep the humidity where you need it. Other than the three brands I mentioned above, I've not encountered an incubator that someone somewhere isn't going to tell you it's a hunk of junk. A lot of people hatch a lot of birds in these hunks of junk until they can afford something better.
