Nurture Right 360 hatching Copper Maran’s

Hatching out some Black cooper Maran’s from our flock. We separated the Roo and hens while we collected eggs for this project. We love this chicken bread for there gentle nature, cold hardiness and of course the dark brown eggs they lay.

The BCM chicks will have white on them at hatching time, then at maturity the white is gone! ha I have two strains of BCM: the Bev Davis strain and the Greenfire Farms strain (original importer, as I understand). Beautiful birds and quite docile, as I am sure you know by now. I'm glad you and your son are working on this together.

You should teach him to be more gentle with the eggs he was setting them down pretty hard on the candler and when he was putting them back in the incubator

If you place a feathered duster in the corner they will think it’s ‘momma’ works like a charm!
I will be hopefully having some chicks in about 10 days🤞also with my Nurture 360

40ish the first 21. Then raise to around 75

you casn float them in 100F water and look for movement, if you get close to lock down with the dark eggs .

I couldn't see through mine i just put them in and at 18 days lock down out of 15 eggs got 12 babies.
