To any future bands doing this show, I hope you have fun and do well. This show was an absolute blast while experimenting with props and color guard was fun. We won 3 comps with 2 1st places in our division and a 3rd place. Our last comp is to be determined by the end of the week and I wish you good luck to whoever sees this comment :)
Yaasss this is my new marching show, but my director didn't want to explain to the people what the show meant, because of the title. So he changed the name to Nemesis. It's not bad, I just keep forgetting the show is called Nemesis. Plus last I was marching with the band, lowbrass/ I played the trombone. Now I'm a ColorGuard!! And I'm part of the 5 rifle people for 3rd movement, plus me, which makes 6 rifles. And it's been 5 years since a male has made it in ColorGuard, so I'm like the new generation for the males.
So I'm a freshman on bass two and it sucks because our director cut out the 7/8 and the first 15 measures of pursuit. Two of the best parts but oh well it's going good
My freshman year we played the last movement to this and during the drum break everyone would hold and start doing a "battle" (the song being called KA: Battlefield) with the person next to them, it was fantastic.
We played Pursuit and Battlefield in our show last year, and this year our opener is Opening Production. I've never been more terrified of being first flute.
played this for 2 years straight , my freshman year my old director cut out a lot but this year I switched schools & my new director added all of it ( baritone for 2 years now ) ❤️
I remember playing this my Junior year in high school. I played trombone, and I remember the other trombones had a hard time controlling their breathing during Pursuit during the trombone sections. It was actually funny seeing the freshman's faces turn red while playing Pursuit.
does anyone know how to tune the Bb-G (1 1/2 step) harmonic half note moving line that the mellophones have in opening production? We have been working all season but it just doesn't seem to fit.
No sweats I felt the same way I'm a freshman too 3rd trumpet and my school has already qualified to state because it was our second competition and we marched 3 movements we are gonna do all 4 movement for our next competition and hope to make it to super state.
im a sophmore trumpet player playing first with my section leader (also a sophmore) cuz all of our strong players left so far ive played the first part but im so hyped for it :D
I absolutely hated this show. It just wasn't me. But I do Love the Low Brass at 3:58 cause I Play the 2nd Trombone. And This part 0:13 . That build is just wow.
2017 marching year, we are playing this. it's pretty easy except its really fast with those 16th notes. I'm on flute too. but im a senior so I won't be marching ☹
#Vibraphonesquadhere! Omg I play vibraphone and at first I almost passed out, but it gets easier when you have the rest of Pit learning and playing with you.

My freshman year we played the last movement to this and during the drum break everyone would hold and start doing a "battle" (the song being called KA: Battlefield) with the person next to them, it was fantastic.
Old Memes we get to die in are show then get back up and turn to front field then back field multiple times
We also did a battle! We split up the band and ran toward each other.
My marching band teacher said we couldn’t do something like that in case someone was gone for the day
Opener gives me chills every time

I absolutely hated this show. It just wasn't me. But I do Love the Low Brass at 3:58 cause I Play the 2nd Trombone. And This part 0:13 . That build is just wow.
