There is an entire Facebook group called Doodly for Educators. I've seen a lot doodles about art. I don't see why teaching art would be different than the other classes but to really have a great doodle, it takes a really long time to come up with something and have it presented nicely so I would question not whether Doodly can be integrated but whether or not you've the time to invest in making a good presentation with Doodly for your students. If you have Facebook, you can feel free to join us there. Just answer the 3 membership questions, read and agree to the rules. Doodly can be installed on as many computers as you would like but they ask that you don't go into the same project at the same time on two different computers. This is not team software and you will end up corrupting or damaging that project.

On converting images to SVG, yes most free online converters do a bad job. Some are not so bad. Try www.pngtosvg.com/ or vectormagic.com. picsvg.com has interesting inversions into single color. Kind of a cartoon-like rendering of logos and text.
I checked out all three. The vectormagic.com is a really great resources. I've been to pngtosvg and they are not good. I've been to picsvg and they don't do color.
@@SoloBoss did you try Inkscape? I've had it for a very long time but never climbed the learning curve as it has not made it to my list of priorities. I checked it again now and it can definitely open a JPG and save it as SVG but I don't know how to use it to create paths and what not...

Doodly can be installed on as many computers as you would like but they ask that you don't go into the same project at the same time on two different computers. This is not team software and you will end up corrupting or damaging that project.

On converting images to SVG, yes most free online converters do a bad job. Some are not so bad. Try www.pngtosvg.com/ or vectormagic.com. picsvg.com has interesting inversions into single color. Kind of a cartoon-like rendering of logos and text.

I checked out all three. The vectormagic.com is a really great resources. I've been to pngtosvg and they are not good. I've been to picsvg and they don't do color.
@@SoloBoss did you try Inkscape? I've had it for a very long time but never climbed the learning curve as it has not made it to my list of priorities. I checked it again now and it can definitely open a JPG and save it as SVG but I don't know how to use it to create paths and what not...
