Very interesting video. Fascinating to see such a difference in extraction with just the number of pours even when everything else is the same. Thanks for the series, I'll be watching them all.
There many many ways to make coffee. It's good to understand how to control variables in order to get the best out from the coffee. Which grinder are you planning to get?
@@matteofromtheswamps I'm upgrading to a K-Ultra from the Timemore C2, I've played around a lot with different pour patterns and pours so far, but now I'll have a better understanding of grind size!
pleasure to watch as always! I think in your last video you mentioned not liking the Kalita 185, any reason why? also do you have any experience with a clarity focused grinders like the zp6 or Pietro? looking forward to the next video!
Hi! thanks for the comment. Yes I said that. I don't really like it because it's a bit slow in drainage and many times you risk to clog the brew, especially if you brew washed light roast. About grinders, I have Pietro and I like it. It's a bit uncomfortable to use mainly but good particle size distribution.
I think is about right more or less. It's important in a grinder the whole particle distribution. you want a wide spectrum to have more complexity but not too wide otherwise you will have too much fines and boulders. in the case of grinding coarser, you want a grinder that produces less boulders to have less dryness in the cup

Thanks. Yeah, that is fact is what I wanted to highlight. A topic that nobody speaks about, but it's simple. Thanks for the support!
Yes! Good day
Very useful information and approach
Thanks for the comment :)

I think I read that the comandante is 30 microns per click. 30 x 28 clicks is 840 microns. Does that seem right?
