Old Exillium | Introducing the Orientis Aerial Ship: Borlayo

In the lands of the far east of Old Exillium. Is a nation called the Commonwealth of the Isles of Pearl Orientis. With the appearance of the Nagas, enormous sea dragons that devour ships whole in ages past. All sorts of naval travel was no longer feasible. That is until the invention of the Skyship.
The OAS Borlayo is a Karakoa Class vessel; the largest class of Skyships ever built in Orientis. The ship was built in Kalingo Shipyards, in Maguindato island, and was launched into service in 1639 AP. The ship was named after the former Guardian of Maguindato; Kilata Borlayo.
With its launch in 1639 AP; OAS Borlayo has served the role of flagship of Skyfleet Kalingo and had remained so until the flagship status was re-designated to the OAS Bantas in 1689 AP; due to the outdated design of the OAS Borlayo. However, even if the OAS Borlayo was considered “outdated” in current skyship design; earning the nickname “The Old Lady of Kalingo”. The OAS Borlayo was still a force to be reckoned with; evident by the fact that she has still stayed in service when other ships of her era had already been decommissioned.
The OAS Borlayo had earned a reputation of being a reliable and durable vessel. With the mere blast of its horns, scaring away any potential pirate vessels from the area. The OAS Borlayo is a ship with deep history, thus serving on the vessel was considered a great honor.
The OAS Borlayo had remained in service for over 60 years. However, during the Battle of South Janissia in 1699 AP. When 2 skyships that were assumed to be civilian cargo ships; unexpectedly fired on the OAS Borlayo and her 2 escort vessels. The Boralyo was destroyed, along with one of the escort vessels the OAS Sakap-Sa. The wreckage of the OAS Borlayo could not be recovered, as it was devoured by the Nagas when it plummeted into the sea.

is "naga" a song of ice and fire reference? cuz naga was iirc a sea dragon that the ironborn killed

However, it is a reference to Warcraft! The Naga race of sea people haha :D
