Before that hip injury, he had no problem decimating Baby Federer. Now Dimitrov is one of the players benefiting off of the hip injury like RBA because Murray owned them when healthy
Grigor played well, but it’s sad how Andy’s career got ruined by a big injury. If only both of these guys were blessed with injury free careers, they could both be playing at a top ten level right now.
It´s just my opinion. But I don't understand the Grigor's strategy playing so many backhand slices that are not harmful at all, when having a powerful backend.
The commentators for this match - one an ex-top-10er - praised Grigor's slice, how it manoeuvred Murray around, pinned him into the corner, made him make mistakes going for too much.
Dimitrov was lucky that Murray’s career got ruined, otherwise he would have lost with the exact same scoreline. Andy knows how to beat this cheap imitation Federer. Sad that time away from the tour and having to fight back to climb the rankings completely deleted his blueprints on how to beat players he had no trouble beating in the past like Dimitrov, RBA, and Verdasco. All three can beat him now because of the effects of that dumb hop injury.
Murray's carreer didn't got ruined. Injury prevention is not luck but skill. Andy didn't manage to make his game evolve. He got injured. Too weak. He loved pain too much. Brave heart but no long term vision. Fantastic player that already fullfill his potential. Let's enjoy the pleasure to see what a true warrior is made of, this last year has been incredible, he is back into the high level after lot of injury. let's enjoy the last years of the lion before his retirement😢🎖 PS : Dimitrov is not a "cheap imitation" of federer, he's one of the rare player with a positive W/L ratio, was number 3 in the world (with a one handed backhand !!) and he is 25-15 in 2023 at 32 years old !! "cheap imitation" ... sometime...
i love that US open is giving us these extended highlights
Murray's always been a smart tactical player, but without a real weapon in his armoury these days, pure guts will never be enough.
Before that hip injury, he had no problem decimating Baby Federer. Now Dimitrov is one of the players benefiting off of the hip injury like RBA because Murray owned them when healthy
This was more like Andy vs Prime Federer 😂 - Grigor played the way he did so amazingly actually moving him left right all the time!! 🎉
So sorry, Sir Andy.
Grigor is as unyielding as a brick wall,
and he's such a nice guy. Well done, Grigor.
Slice was on point for Grigs.

Love to @usopen, the only slam to give the people extended highlights of 20+ minutes long 😙❤
What a match !!!! 😲😲😲 Top 💪🔥🔥🔥
Grigor 💪💪💪💪💪😍😍😍😍😍

Amazing match from Grigor 👏❤️
That hip injury won the march for him. Healthy Murray would have decimated him
@@ryoshusuke2108 And very healthy and without bandages and younger, Murray still fell to Grigor because he has no tactics and never had.
@@PhG74-e1b The last time they played at the US Open, Murray destroyed him easily what are you one 😅😅😅
@@PhG74-e1b And Murray was one of the best tacticians on the tour. Grigor is all style no substance
Murray is certainly the greatest tactician on tour. By the second day at most. That's why he has the most desperate fans like you.
Love to see Andy lose

Andy needs to improve his serve
Bye Andy
is Dimitrov playing with Roger's racket
😂
Murray should retire 🙏
Andy Murray must retire.
I'm surprised they let senior citizens play these days, that Murray guy is so washed, what a boring match.
But I agree. Boring that Baby Federer won.
He’s a professional pusher
Andy wants to be liked so bad lol...

It's not that Dimitrov haven't beat him before. I remember how he straight setted defending champion Murray Wimby 2014.
@@millenium13constantin58 Murray was dealing with back issues for most of 2014. And aside from that Murray’s owned him in the head to head.
It’s true, RBA didn’t beat Murray once before that hip injury. And Murray had amazing records against Verdasco and Dimitrov before then too
@@ryoshusuke2108 Of course Andy is a legend. But that doesn't change what I said.

Sending the Scotsman home makes me feel some kind of consideration for Dimitrof after all
