I used No. 8 mask and then No. 9 serum and I have never ever blown my lightened hair dry without seeing any breakage or hair on the counter. My hair is so soft, No. 9 this is probably my favorite olaplex product.

No 8 can be used during your normal shampoo routine and just use it in place of your conditioner (rinse well)
No 9 is used in the first step of your styling (so after you wash and use no 8) then you apply no 9 in towel dried hair and style like normal
So, does this take place of using #6 and #7 together ?
It all depends on your hair needs honestly. No 9 really helps with shielding hair from pollution, provides style memory, and smooths the cuticle.
No. 6 is a styling treatment that mostly helps with faster blow drying while smoothing along with fighting frizz
No 7 adds weightless shine and softness while protecting against those heat tools.
You can definitely use them all together or you can pick or choose what you are looking for when it comes to your end desired results

I got No. 9 today. No. 6 made my hair hard to comb through.
You will love No. 9 then it’s pretty lightweight, especially compared to No 6. No 6 is easy to over us, just a small tiny amount is needed so it doesn’t weight down your hair

It made my hair feel a bit crispy and hard to comb and blow dry. Frizzy too.
I can't recommend and I won't buy again.
What’s the difference between 6 and 9? I use 6 already (3,4,5,6,7)
No 6 has a silicone base and No 9 does not. I also think No 9 is a lot more lightweight compared to No 6 (because of the no silicone) and you can layer No 9 with other styling products.
I thought it was sticky and it made my hair really hard to comb out. 😢
I’m sorry to hear that! I definitely didn’t have that issue BUT everyone’s hair is different and thankfully there are so many different options to use

Yes No 9 is activated by water so apply to clean damp hair first. Then layer your 6 and 7 over

Yes you can ❤️ it provides heat protection up to 450°F so it’s perfect with using flatiron
