Wow. Julia Perminova is not well known in much of Europe or in America - but she should be, at least among discerning listeners of contemporary melodic jazz. Some fo the great jazz pianists have passed away or are no longer able to play - John Taylor, Geri Allen, McCoy Tyner, Lyle Mays and Keith Jarret spring to mind. Whilst this is a sad loss, we have the benefit of superb players such as Julia to tke their place.
