What a terrific trio. World class, with influences of much missed ECM artists such as John Taylor and Lyle Mays.
Wow. Julia Perminova is not well known in much of Europe or in America - but she should be, at least among discerning listeners of contemporary melodic jazz. Some fo the great jazz pianists have passed away or are no longer able to play - John Taylor, Geri Allen, McCoy Tyner, Lyle Mays and Keith Jarret spring to mind. Whilst this is a sad loss, we have the benefit of superb players such as Julia to tke their place.
