I was a Cub Scout leader and my son was a Cub Scout when we made one. We baked and roasted in it for 3 years before he donated it to the Cub Scout Pack associated with his Boy Scout Troop. They used it for a long time. All you have to do is change the foil occasionally to clean it. If you use a sturdy box, it will last for years. We discovered that if you use charcoal, each briquet equals 40 degrees F. Don't forget to poke some vent holes near the bottom and an equal number near the top for good airflow and even heating. Also an oven thermometer to regulate temperature. Happy camping!
I can bake a cake or a whole chicken in a cardboard box. A rule of thumb if using bbq bricks is that each one burns at about 40 degrees... you can estimate the temp with the number you use.....
easy way to make breakfast burritto boil a pot of water campfire or gas stove easier with gas stove i think add your eggs,shrooms,onions etc. in a ziploc bag boil the mix in bag till eggs ready and take out the bag and boom perfect shape filling for burritos
