Shoto Todoroki is one of the characters we’ve seen training his quirk the most from My Hero Academia Season 1 through Season 6, and that’s why he’s been able to awaken his quirk AGAIN in the latest chapter of the manga, My Hero Academia Manga Chapter 389. Throughout the series we saw that Shoto Todoroki trained the ice half of his quirk to be far stronger than the fire side, with him only recently getting his fire side caught up so he could create his Quirk Awakening Phosphor technique, however one thing we know about Shoto is that when he uses his ice it’s all about BIG output, as he’s created giant ice walls or frozen large areas pretty much ever since we met him in Season 1 of the anime, however NOW Shoto has awakened the ability to create CONSTRUCTS out of Ice, which is something he could only do with help before, and he was limited to creating simple objects like a ramp. In MHA Chapter 389 Spoilers we see Shoto creating a fighter jet made of Ice to help Iida be more Aerodynamic, and this starts to put Shoto near the level of Geten Himura from My Villain Academia, who could create and control Ice creatures, so given that Shoto going full Iceman in this final battle, what do you think he’ll make next to stop Dabi also known as Toya or Touya Todoroki! Can Rei's Ice Quirk Awaken even further?

It would be weird if Dabi showed remorse at this point. He expressed no remorse for endangering his other siblings once Shoto told him, even the ones who cared for him and tried to shield him from his father.
I felt like once Dabi crossed that line of trying to hurt the rest of his family (Albeit as collateral damage offscreen) that trying to reason with him was instead unreasonable.

It’s the quirk singularity. The students in 1-A would have been massacred had the quirk students they had to babysit been more violent. When each generation gets stronger and stronger quirks, it doesn’t matter how good you are at using your own if someone has such a strong quirk they can overpower you without a second thought.

@@theRabbitHoleee Have you ever heard of plot armor? It’s when a character is suppose to lose a battle but wins anyway because he has to, to keep the plot moving forward. Idk if you have watched naruto or not, but the best example i can think of, is when sasuke is suppose to die to dedeira but wins anyway because he’s not allowed to die or else all of naruto would drastically change. In this instance, he saying that dabi is only going to lose to shoto because shoto is apart of the main 3, and can’t die, so the writers will just give him a power so he can win. But i disagreed because dabi awakened his own quirk and got an additional one revealed
That sounds extremely obvious. Essentially just saying “the hero will get stronger and the villain will lose because hero will win because the hero got stronger and it will be so freaking cool and epic.”

He can basically make ice creatures than breathe fire at this point, the only thing that is stopping him is the plot
And the fact that the fire is produced from his body, so it wouldn't be able to be generated from any ice he creates. His Quirk is to produce and control ice and fire from different sides of his body, not generate them from anywhere else.

What if Shoto ends up using superheated steam to suffocate his flames? He seems to have enough control to isolate for safety, while still cutting off the parameters Dabi needs to properly combust/explode. Increase the water content and pressure it's under beyond what Dabi's putting out, and you take most of the wind out his sails. Of course, to even have a sliver of a chance to pull this off, the family (not just shoto) will have to go PLUS ULTRAAAAA!!!! Half measures will only get everyone killed

What episode does he use phosphor? I watched all 138 episodes of my hero academia but shot doesn't use phosphor unless I missed it completely somehow. I also don't see him musing the move called Cold Pale Ice Sword or something similar. The battle against Dabi he used jet kindling but that's it.
I don't think the anime has met this arc yet.

I like how we are actually shown how his control over ice has improved overtime.
In season 2 he could only put out massive icebergs, but without control over how they would turn out, so they were dangerous when fighting in a team.
In season 3 he still lacked control, but he was able to create that ramp to help the others reach Bakugou and the ramp had a specific shape.
In season 4 he was able to create the rollercoaster for the kids by using other objects.
In season 5 he was able to control his power enough not to obstruct his vision during the class A Vs class B fight.
In season 6 he was able to create that massive pillar of ice to stop Deku, so it was clear both his power limit and control had increased by then.
So him being able to now create objects out of ice doesn't come out of nowhere. Super cool

I not sure what Shoto will create next but I am curious how hard it's for characters to create constructions I don't mean just Element quirks but similar quirks like Mina's Acid Quirk, Shadow like quirk Ex Dark Shadow, Barrier, Air Wall, Blackwhip, Hydra etc...and are there constructions that can only be done by certain quirks Ex Only Element quirks like Ice can create living creatures like a Dragon?
