They are usually relatively cheap, highly recognized, have a legit history as hard currency, have inherent numismatic value, and are composed of a genuine monetary metal (i.e. Silver 90% pure). Junk, 90%, or Constitutional coinage is a no-brainer for me. They make up fully 50% of my overall core Silver stack. Good video!
One of the purposes of Constitutional, and a major reason to buy it, is barter. First, ALL fiat currencies fail. when they do, you need to find something else to use. These coins, being fractional, can be used for that. Does it hold its value? In 1942, gasoline was $0.20/gallon. Today, the average is $3.11. 2 dimes have more value than that in silver.
