Daniel, I could study under you for 20 years and still not be half the artist that you are. My art eye is so rusty, it is myopic with tunnel vision. Your skills do inspire me, for which I thank you so very much.
I am very new to leather working and have to say this is absolutely stunning!! I think the modeling spoon is much easier than using the swivel knife and all the different shading tools!! Now I have to get a picture of a horse!! Thank you for teaching this project!!
Let's Goooo! I moved my leather shop into my unheated garage so I took a break not being able to do anything because I didn't want to stand around in -2 degree weather. BUT I certainly can use a modeling spoon in the house since that's nice and quiet.
The modeling spoon is one of the tools i really struggle with. I feel i can't control it as well as i can a beveler, or any other tool for that matter. I can never get clean curves, or smooth even bevels with it. I gave up even trying. I may just have to give it another shot after seeing this.
I’m amazed by the result you got with just one tool. This makes me wonder though, when you’re not doing a challenge and you can use a mix of all of your tools, how do you decide what tool will give you the best effect in each area? It’s easy to just go to the default-cut lines, bevel edges, background stamp, spoon details. But now I feel like there are definitely times where you could get a better effect with a less standard tool. As an example, I think most of us would have swivel knife cut the hair, but I can see how the spoon makes it look more cohesive like a full mane instead of individual hairs. I’d love to see a video comparing the differences in tool choice on the same design, and explaining how to decide on a method.
Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Love that pattern of the horse! You have the neck of the art. Every line and mark blend together. Great job !

This technique is great. Going to have to add this to my skillset.
Beautiful. 👌🏻👍🏻
