I remember the insane tests Tom did in the middle of the night (here in the UK) for his new concept. He also introduced me to Neil Hamburger & Tim & Eric. How amazing is it to look back all these years later & see a new medium starting out. Fantastic days!!!

I've been a fan of Norm since the early 90's when he was on Weekend Update and did Billy Madison. I tried to get into other stand up comedians after seeing Norm many years ago, and nothing was ever even close.
Wild how all 3 of these guys had cancer. RIP Norm MacDonald and Sam Simon. Absolute legends.

Tom took this long to get another dog after that one died. He’s out in a van with his dog Charlie the potcake dog hanging out in the wilderness. And this is still on TH-cam because of archivists like you, happy. Toms van is WAY more advanced than he pictured here at the end!
By the end these guys are lit. I respect Tom,Norm and Sam so much. The time is well spent with them. It’s comfortable and awkward at the same time lol raw experience with people.

Am I the only person seeing Simon trying to flex about Norm’s favorite scene of all time? Then a drunk Macdonald proceeds to put on a masterclass in his description of said scene. Afterwords he sits back in his chair and takes a celebratory drink. I think Norm was having a pretty good time til Simon got there. At the end of the show, an intoxicated Norm is heard saying to Tom, “…yeah real fun.” I think Norm felt ambushed. And he destroyed.

Tom, You were really onto something with this show. The first of its kind. If it were done with some minor tweaks it really would’ve taken off at that time instead of ten years later. I do really think you would’ve been the jre from that time of it wasn’t trying to somewhat be done like a tonight show. It was very entertaining. Thank you sir.
