Here's a recording of hacked Nintendo Wii running firmware 4.3E. I installed a variant of a DarkWii theme to give it a nice black look that Nintendo honestly should have implemented.
It's so sad to see the Nintendo Wii modding scene to slowly die, I was one of the last few people to experience all the new Homebrew code that people created for this amazing console.
Lastly, I'd just like to say thanks for EVERYONE'S support. Every view, like and comment really means a lot to me and I appreciate it. I still can't believe I've hit nearly 250,000 views! It was just a random video I decided to make with my old EasyCAP I bought, hence the poor quality xD

Why is it useless? I use it because what the wii considers low isn't very low.

Crazy late reply but I agree with you massively here as well as the replies. The Switch menu is so dull, no background music and the only remotely ‘fun’ thing it has is its sound effects. Wii U was also awesome, just like the Wii. Amazing soundtrack. The fact that I had to say soundtrack amazes me, because there’s literally a song for everything you click on lol. This is a massive reason why I’ve homebrew’d my Switch. Stock Switch is really boring and I don’t feel like paying for online.

ThatPikachuMain - awesome to hear! I sadly have moved on from modding (although I had modded my Switch recently) but it’s so amazing to hear people still modding their Wii’s. This upload was many years ago and life was so different back then, I wish I had more inspiration to continue uploading modding videos and comments like this really do inspire me. I wish I could help you out with WADs and other files but I don’t have them anymore. Good luck with everything!

I asked dad for permission to hack my wii, and he said I could only do things that were legal. Then an image popped into my head of people mining bitcoin on the wii, and there would be a useless motion control thing shoehorned in, where you have to shake the wii remote to shake bitcoin out of someone's pocket.
Lol you have a crazy imagination, that's great. Also softmodding your Wii is perfectly legal, it's when you go out your way to get the games for free is when it is illegal.

It is an amazing console once you mod it!
You can pick them up for cheap in the used market. Here in the UK, you can find them in car boot sales and sites like Facebook Marketplace for dead cheap. Hopefully you get one!! :D

Be careful now, even the most slightest mistake can really fatally brick your Wii (I learned that the hard way lol) and reminder always make a nand backup or have priiloader

How do you get all thoses custom channels i want my nintendont channel with the gamecube opening for it how do i do that
You have to use showmiiwads to edit the banner of a forwarder for any channel for the wii and also use showmiiwads to put the forwarder's forward to file path to your nintendon't app on your sd card. Then finally use wad manager to install the forwarder on your wii.
