I am praying for Princess Anne and all of the Royal family. They have suffered greatly within the last couple of years and deserve a little peace and comfort.
For Ms Fogarty to suggest the cancellation of a trip to Canada is a sign of something particularly severe is absolute nonsense. Any 73-year old who has suffered concussion and then to be expected to fly long-haul on business, only days later, would be absolute folly.
I hope so too, we can’t lose her because Anne, Princess Royal is the most hard working royal we have known since her late mother Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
I’m a retired nurse. If she’s having memory issues, it’s not a mild concussion. Also, HRH would not be in hospital for one minute longer than she thought appropriate. It’s concerning.
Flying days after a concussion is tantamount to sucide. The change in air pressure can have very serious effects upon a brain injury. After a brain tumour removal I had to travel to my brother's house in Northern Ireland by Rail and ferry because the doctor warned me against Any air travel even after the 6 week watch and care period I was at my brother's house for. I needed to have a brain scan 3 months after the operation to check the healing process and confirm if I was fit to fly.
As someone who rides horses for a living and is hands on every day, you never know how they are going to react to s situation. Best wishes and a full recovery to HRH Princess Anne
I hope that she's okay. I'm the same age as she is. It takes a while to recover from any injury and I'm sure she's in better shape than I am. I'm praying for her full recovery.
But if they don’t discuss what might have happened then there will be comments about a “cover up” and that “they are hiding information”. There’s no way to win
Because the guess is a likely scenario, especially if you know horse related injuries. The walking the horse and getting whacked by it's head is a logical assumption. Horses head are really hard and boy do you know about it afterwards!

Even if the head injury is not very serious, it is advisable not to fly. The changes in pressure could exacerbate any residual weakness, blood clots etc. She will probably be fine.

As a working royal Princess Anne isn't a fully private citizen. Of course many details of any injury or illness would be kept private but the UK citizens do have the right to know about this incident and that she's in the hospital.
It is not hard to work out what happened. Plenty of other people who work with horses have been injured by the horse kicking out. No bending was required at all

You don't need to be bending down to be kicked by a horse. Worst kick I got, I was standing in the field, and the horse clipped my temple with his hoof - exactly as he meant to do. If he'd meant to make full contact, he would have.
