Literally what i thought
I had a 2020 z4 m40i and you absolutely can't open or close the roof above 40mph or so.
Got caught on a bridge when it started to rain with the top down.
Just had to gun it till the end of the bridge ... thankfully I didn't get too wet.
I'd imagine forcing the roof open at 110mph would break something since its essentially a giant canvas sail at that point.
my bad, I forgot to say it was on the press car given to the journalists

I noticed more facts thats are not right
Multiple facts were wrong. The most obvious was the "dipstick". It takes less than 10 seconds to fact check it and deny it.
There may be some exceptions, particularly for certain diesel engines in non-US markets, but for most BMWs after 2006, you’ll use the electronic system to check the oil level @@sven679
I was anticipating a traditional kind of 101 facts video when I saw the title.

BMW was not involved into the Dieselgate. They needet to pay a fine, because of an error in their software, but they didn’t manipulate their emissions data, or break any other Laws like VW did. Otherwise great Video!
There are multiple false facts in the video. It feels like there weren't any fact checking involved.

"BMW hasn't had dipsticks since 2006" is wrong. My 2010 E90 with M57 has a dipstick.
My 2015 N57 also has one.

3:47 my suspicion on why the BMW E46 is the Best selling BMW is due to the fact from a game relating to the BMW M3 GTR (Need For Speed Most Wanted⁰⁵and Carbon...)
Well the production of the e46 started in 1998 and the Need for speed came 2005 out. Can't be the reason.

335d kept the dip stick in the e90 era, its such a fancy and nice feature to have. Must've been breaking the bank for BMW to have dip sticks

Exactly Number 10 is wrong, my 2013 bmw 6 series doesn’t have traditional hand break

S70B56 used in 850csi and S70/2 used in McLaren F1 are two very different engines. S70/2 has 65% higher HP.

I got a bmw 3 series f30 from 2013 and it does have a dipstick but I can check over the idrivesystem aswell

The fact that South Carolina, my current home, plays such a vital role in BMW's continued existence is not lost on me. To carry on with facts one might not know about that, South Carolina Highway Patrol has (or at least at one point had) a 7 Series as a gift from the local factory.

Just got my first Bimmer, 2009 381i x drive E90. Already blown away by the quality of life upgrades from my last car even for an old model. Hopefully I can repair it myself 😭

Fact 2 is incorrect. The SsangYong Actyon was actually a couple months earlier, which diapleased BMW no end.
And you could argue that the 90's Aixam Mega Track was also an SUV Coupe.
That being said, it takes a lot of effort to make these lists, so well done👍
I see Aixam’s a lot as they now build moped-cars (16 year olds can drive it and old people can drive them if they are too frail for cycling and too slow for the open road.
So I always find it hilarious to see a picture of the Mega Track and know that that marque is the same as the moped-cars hahaha
