Lukas T Very good point Lucas. I can play most songs I hear but the disjointed feeling I get just from little snippets would cause me problems. It is definitely a skill for the LinkedIn page :). I do not think many will realise how difficult this is. I used to practice to the album Punk in Drublic from start to finish but that is easier than the 5 mins Kye does on NOFX in my opinion. I used to dislike 3 songs in a 5 min medley but could just about cope. This is another level on top. Within rock and punk I never thought I would hear something I couldn't play within one or two listens as used to teach drums briefly and that would be expected and I did not have a problem but if someone brought me one of these 5 mins I would tell them to FO as this is not natural to my ears. Takes a lot to impress me but I am impressed.
I know most people recognize Kye now because of his drum chronologies, but I've known who he is for at least 7 or 8 years, which is how long ago I discovered his band, Local Resident Failure. I can't tell you how awesome it is that the drummer of a punk rock band played Madison Square Garden. Represent.
You rock, man I love your band (local resident failure). Man keep rocking the world needs a drummer like you! Cheers from Brazil (capim Grosso state of bahia).
Excellent work and selection.....name me any other band that you would listen to every one of their songs from beginning to end, and over and over again.......the Beatles music will not and can't ever die...period!
Each song is a soundtrack for a specific time of my life. Thank you, sir, you and the Fab 4 just reminded me that I`m a happy person! Congratulations from Brazil. You just made my day. Incredible, impressive, awesome!
Bro I've listened to metal from back to front and it sucks! it's shitty! I don't even know how to describe how terrible it is and its community... I used to be very fond of this genre but now I realized I was the dumbest fool, all they sing about is darkness, death, dying, satan, napalm, killing, imaginary bullshit, dragons and weird fantasies that no one gives a damn about in real life, that leaded me to utter depression. Thank god I discovered Punk Rock and Melodic Hardcore, it always motivates me, has meaningful and relatable lyrics and got me out of my gloom. Only metal bands that I find real good/interesting are The Agonist, Killswitch Engage and Lacuna Coil.
Kakashi I saw Derek Grant with AK3 and he was excellent. I said above takes a lot to impress me but Derek Grant is impressive and surprisingly subtle at times. Great drummer. Matt can be a bit hit and miss live but that night he was on it completely after a terrible review saying he was asleep on stage a few nights before and not playing any oldies but that night they did Jaked on Green Beers and Private Eye as an encore and the crowd went crazy.
I've seen them 3 times, I saw them when they played with H2O, and New Found Glory. Then I saw them for their Past Live tour, I was only able to see them 2/4 nights cuz they sold out pretty quick. But everytime I saw them they played very well. One of my favorite bands.
90% in the audience might not have a clue how difficult it actually is lining all these songs up and not failing with tempo etc.
Lukas T yep, they are stupid

Lukas T Yes I agree
Christopher Walter You can listen to both rap and Beatles.
Mooseknuck Scalloper I can bear only Public Enemy as a rap band and saw them support Anthrax years ago. The rest just does not appeal.
An australian playing music by a british band in amercia. cool stuff!
Hero'of'War awesome aye
Commonwealth, BITCH!
Hero'of'War English band if you please!
That's what music's about man
I never knew he was Australian
What's really impressive here is his ability to line up those tempos perfectly
Yes that is super impressive
wow. halftime show at Madison Square Garden. Thats impressive!
it is awesome.
The only thing that's bigger is the Superbowl. And perhaps the Indy 500. Very impressive indeed!
He nailed Yesterday, lol The Beatles and Ringo FOREVER!
One of the problems with stereo speakers. If one breaks, you're in trouble.
Congrats, dude. Such an incredible opportunity and you nailed it!!
I feel like I see you on every drum video I've ever seen
You should do a queen drum chronology
Amazing man and congratulations!!
Yo shartimus, wtf

Whoa, being a native New Yorker, that is a big deal. Congrats man, that's amazing.

He even gets the way Ringo hit the drums and cymbals spot on
I've lost count of how many times I've watched the Beatles Drum Chronology - can't wait until he does a Queen one!
What a cool opportunity brotha. Good on you!

well done my friend!! Ringo must be proud of you!!
Dude, that's so awesome you got to play at the halftime show. You totally deserve it with your talent
I laughed during yesterday. That was cute. Great job! It really makes you appreciate how important Ringo was to the Beatle sound.
It was because there wasn't no drums. And yes Ringo has nice singing
Can you do a chronology on mcr? Also AWESOME job finally getting some attention
bbk bbk bbk bbk bbk done.
I couldn't resist bobbing my head to some of these songs
I've been subscribed since you made the Beatles 5 minute melody
So cool! It's great to see someone talented get a great opportunity like this
Congrats dude! you rock!
You rock, man I love your band (local resident failure). Man keep rocking the world needs a drummer like you! Cheers from Brazil (capim Grosso state of bahia).
Great to see you come so far man! Beautiful work!!
I am very glad to see your 5 minutes drum chronology of the Beatles at Madison Squre Garden !
Great !
it's too bad 97% of the Beatles songs on TH-cam is gone . the other 3% are live, video games, studio sessions and covers.
Yoko >:v
Do you even know how percentages work
The Eye search for the term "cool beans", and it be the first channel. You'll be suprised.

Excellent work and selection.....name me any other band that you would listen to every one of their songs from beginning to end, and over and over again.......the Beatles music will not and can't ever die...period!

Congratulations from Brazil. You just made my day. Incredible, impressive, awesome!
This guy is awesome for lining them all up in a good way
I subscribed to Kye back when he was making Fat Wreck covers, proud of ya. Shred those drums, and live it up!!
Awesome.. so tough to do live
Can you do a full version of each song ? You're an amazing drumer.
his drumming on yesterday was amazing
Amazing opportunity! Would love to see some "behind the scenes" to stuff like this
Jeez! Can we get a little love for the real subject of this impressive performance: Ringo?
Chronically underrated as a drummer and as a Beatle.
Congratulations man, I can't imagine how cool it'd be to play at Madison Square Garden
was there no applause?
only the announcer and kye are mic'd up
Julian Hayes you kidding a bunch of raptards ,no idea of real music
The drums are right next to the mics, so it can't pick up the crowd.
Jeffrey Martino Nah It’s because you cannot hear the audience, they did clap
@@jeffreymartino531 While the players would be mostly raptards i think you're underestimating how diverse a knicks crowd actually is.
That is so amazing!! Congratulations!!
Congrats man! Btw you should do an Iron Maiden drum chronology :)
Metal sucks
And boring too
Bro I've listened to metal from back to front and it sucks! it's shitty! I don't even know how to describe how terrible it is and its community...
