About Greninja's being a top 10 beloved Pokemon, I saw a comment on another youtuber's video recently which said something like "Greninja is the Charizard for people who grew up with a 3DS instead of a gameboy."
SO true. Greninja was huge during the XY and SM eras. In the XY anime it was pushed harder than Charizard was in season 1.
I knew Eric was right. So crazy … I wonder who will be the new top pokemon for Gen 8,9?

The stamp is only for Simplified Chinese, an added security measure because fake cards are so common in mainland China. It also makes for an easy way to differentiate Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
Also, dont overpay for those new Pokemom Go arts. The radiants are going to be $1-$2 cards and the regular holos and bulk will be pennies.
I like thoose cards you gave to eric and Henry. I have master set the shining legends cards in English and I like how only the pokemon is textured and the background is not textured because it makes it very unique texturing pattern compared to every other textured card and i dont know about chinese but in English those pokemon really look nice when the light shines off it and defintly worthy of the name "shining"
but what is that grading company because I would also like to make an ampharos card to remember our club?

The grading company is Top Service Grading located in Taiwan. There are probably other companies who offer similar services around the world.
Pokemon has so many promo cards especially for japanese. Like the pancho pikachus and mario and luigi colabs. The only problem is we havent seen something that sick in a few years but there has been cards that arent really playable and ment to be collectable. Like the ancient mew promo is another one.

3 Fans will have their art turned into real cards with cash prizes of $5000. Pokemon just announced the top 300 selections and fans have discovered many of the cards selected were created by AI. Many fans whose legit art was not selected are obviously left feeling bitter.
My questions:
1. Does it even matter if it was AI created or should Pokemon disqualify those submissions?
2. How long will it be until a legit artist commissioned by Pokemon is found out to have submitted AI generated art?
3. Considering how amazing some of the AI created art in the top 300 submissions looks and how it went undiscovered by Pokemon, do you think Pokemon will ever consider using AI as a way to cost cut or meet short deadlines in the future?
4. If future chase cards are AI created, will it devalue the card? If a card looks incredible, but was AI created, would you still be willing to drop say $50-$200 on a single?

I can kind of understand the confusion you made between the games now, especially considering you JUST beat Black and White and you referred to them as XY in both this podcast and your most recent collection box opening 😆

I did not enjoy opening Eevee Hero's in Korean, maybe it is just the set, but just getting the same VMAX and V cards in every box was exhausting. Opened 15 boxes I think, and 2 of them were dead boxes (no SR or better).
My L of the week was accidentally ordering VSTAR Universe in Koren instead of Japanese, they are about at the same price, so I didn't look close enough. Not sure what I am going to do with these 3 boxes.
Korean is different, no guaranteed hits.

as much as it would be nice to buy eevee heroes I dont think they should reprint it because it is out of rotation and would really mess with collectors confidence of pokemon cards being collectibles going forward. and I am not even a japanese collector but I think there has to be some trust between collectors and pokemon company.

I told u guys I am going to take you in a unique order you never did before. This weeks checkpoint is to beat Brock and set up to catch ho-oh/lugia and suicuine next week!
1. From where you caught snorlax go through the diglet cave he was blocking and as you exit cave cut the tree to the north and enter pewter city
2. Defeat brock
3. IN PEWTER CITY SPEAK TO THE OLD MAN WHO GIVES YOU THE RAINBOW FEATHER OR SILVER WING!!!! (on the hill next to the mart)
4. Speak to the copycat girl in saffron city and she tells you she lost her doll
5. Her doll is in The Pokemon fan club in vermillion city so pick it up from there and return it to her and she will give the train ticket back to Johto
Next week we return to Johto to catch the remaining lugia or ho-oh! dont skip step 3!

@@HenrysPokeCorner I played these games so many times as a kid and it totally went over my head until watching this podcast 20 years later that the girl on a date on the bridge is actually Misty! I didn't make the connection that the character model is the same as Misty outside of Bill's house
Brock's Kabutops ran through my entire team in 1-2 hits. Beat him easily the second time though.

Ok so new to the podcast. The guy with the glasses seems to start arguments over nothing and constantly disagrees with everything and hates all the ideas you bring up. Just what I took away from it.
