I enjoy eating slowly and going back several times to have a little bit of everything. I dislike eating with piggy people that think it is a race. It’s literally AYCE, relax.
I miss Soupplantation/Sweet Tomatoes. A lot of the remaining buffets focus on cheap junk food or expensive meats. There's not a lot of places left that encourage you to wolf down health food, even in Southern California. @mashedfood , if you're ever looking to film in SoCal, check out Sweet Veggie in El Monte. AYCE Singaporean, Korean & Mexican food, and all of it vegetarian. They've got a make-your-own shaved ice bar a few paces from unlimited veggie sushi. Really eclectic and fairly cheap.
Choice. Trying a bit of things you would never order off of a regular menu, because you might not like it. Try a tiny portion. If you hate it, leave the tiny portion on the plate. If you like it, you can get more of it. You sacrifice quality at a buffet (except Las Vegas buffets), but you get choices. What a great way to try new things and expand your culinary horizons. "Hey, I actually like this. Who knew it could taste that good" ?
I like the different choices of foods that we can try and enjoy at our leisure. What I dislike, is the amount of food that goes wasted at the end of the night or day. There's too many people who are starving and would kill to have food like this.
True. I hate "Eat This, Not That" articles. They're all so negative - "more than your daily allowance of sodium in just one portion". I like salt, thank you very much.
I've only been to three. A Chinese all you can eat and one that was more American style and one in Reno. And that was the best buy far with the Chinese coming in second.
@@Aelffwynn Well the one in Reno was at a casino so it was just about everything including prime rib but more American food. I just didn't think I needed to write it down because it's Reno and Vegas that known for their all you can eat buffets. But sorry ill try to do better next time.
That's the problem with spell check - homonyms. Spell check cannot differentiate between there, their (the word you were going for), and they're. All three sound the same, but are used differently. Sister Mary Diesel will be around to smack your knuckles with her yardstick shortly.

Unsanitary , I don’t go to buffets people be so nasty coughing in there hand and touching the food
