I have a Peruvian colleague and as a consequence, I sought for some documentaries about Peru. Just like in most of the developing world, we have our poor suburbs and those with better amenities. Keep going people, with courage and commitment we can make life better for ourselves, our surroundings, and our communities.
Many sell their lands to move to Lima Perù, and after their money runs out they have no place to grow their food 😢. We need to redefine what wealth really is.
Peru is a rich country, it has gold like none other. But the problem is the people in power, the government. It is so extremely corrupt and there's no control that other countries are going into Peru to steal the gold form there and nobody says anything. Yet the citizens get more poor while the economy keeps declining and the government keeps taking money to fill their pockets. I was born in Peru, my entire family lives there and they don't even have jobs. My aunt is 40 and she can't find a job because no one will hire her, she's too old. My cousin, her son, who is 19 works a part time job but gets exploited to work full time and barely gets paid less than $100 on a biweekly basis. It's horrible and sad. You want to see what corruption is like? Go there and you'll see it. If it wasn't because my mom sends money to my aunt, about $500 biweekly, my aunt wouldn't have money to buy food or pay bills.
How can you send money to these people? Does Western Union work? I can't leave Canada because my passport was stolen so I can't come and try to destroy that fucking wall. If someone is willing to take my money from Peru, Mexico etc. please let me know!!!!
I gave to Global Giving...are there other organizations that give directly to the kids of Peru? If anyone knows? This is so sad...please accept my apology for not acting sooner.
Unfortunately unless you go there directly to help with your own hands and use that money directly, that money will never make it to these poor people. Because the ones "willing to help" there will more than likely pocket your money. It's the sad reality. I tried that and believe me, people will try to use any excuse to suck every dime out of you just to fill up their pockets unfortunately.
I am from pakistan when I saw that so I think that this wall should be removed and it should be removed the wall and also america says that we are a powerful country then how it is possible in the south America big country Peru have thats much big problems so I can't believe 😢
What does America have to do with Peru? We are already are giving too many countries money especially Israel and Ukraine and we probably give Peru foreign aid as well. We give all this money to tons of countries,NATO etc while poverty rates in major cities is rising faster than ever especially in Philadelphia where I'm from, homelessness is growing rampant, hundreds of thousands die from drugs and alcohol, our cities are more violent with crimes including murder, and the middle class is dying here as over 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and many are only one away from becoming homeless. America isn't the superpower people think it is and the country is on a bad track especially economically is which why I don't know why people are migrating to a country on track to fail in record numbers.
Horrible..so much injustice. Things have to change drastically. Much strength and wisdom to the Peruvians for a better living🙏🏽
I don’t think so . They want to go ? fine walk around that wall IS OPEN and walk the street
Don’t need to jump at night.
See? Is a different thing

Well you are not going to get an accurate picture of Peru by documentaries like this one.
