2024 NFC South Division Preview & Predictions: Breaking Down Falcons, Buccaneers, Saints & Panthers

- 2024 NFC South Preview: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to defend their division title after going 9-8 last season and winning a playoff game. However, the Atlanta Falcons made big moves this NFL Offseason and as recently as this week by trading for Matthew Judon and signing Justin Simmons. The Falcons are betting favorites to win the NFC South division, but the Bucs are in the mix to repeat as are the New Orleans Saints who also went 9-8 last season. Can Derek Carr have a big season with new Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak? Lastly, the Carolina Panthers don’t figure to be in the mix to win the division this year after going 2-15 last season, but the hope is that new head coach Dave Canales can jump-start QB Bryce Young’s career. Chat Sports host Harrison Graham begins his 2024 NFL Divisional series breakdown as he previews the AFC South today.

3 years in a row Falcons went 7-10, we didn't have a dip or hill, it was a flat line with our record...and we did that with much less talent, this year, our low is 10-7 but our high is 12-5 with either one of those records your division champions, because alot of these teams in the nfc south are not the teams of old.

When did the bucs get spanked as you say by the birds? I remember the bucs lost in a last second field goal 16-13 then the bucs spanked the birds in the second game by more then 10 points. So please help me out here.

@@vernonswango1751yea buccs in fact DID NOT beat falcons by over 10 pts the second game. They struggled both times against a very below average qb in Ridder and could only win 2 more games throughout the season. Buccs are not good at all lol whole division was terrible

2018 great rookie year. 2019 sophomore slump, 2020 playoffs and got robbed vs Chiefs in playoffs, 2021 Played injured. 2022 lost year because he got screwed in CLV CAR was a dumpster fire and LA wanted him as a backup. and in 2023 he finds stability and its back to the playoff and 2024 he has a home and support and will only be better

Lots of disrespect in the comments damn. I'm a Bucs fan and enjoyed the video. I do think Canales is a tiny overrated and our new OC will be an upgrade but I can definitely understand most of your opinions.
Think my biggest disagreement is on playoff performance. NFC South might be kings of trash mountain, but regardless of which one of our horrible teams wins the division we're never an easy wildcard match. Every one of our teams is at our best when we're being underrated. As a Bucs fan we had no business beating Philly and hanging with the Lions but that's just the NFC South for ya.

Do some research. Canales held Baker back last year. Baker bailed him out all year on 2nd and 3rd and long because Canales ran on 1st Down 85% of the time while averaging 3.6 yards a carry (worst in the NFL). Bucs re-signed Every defining FA (Baker, Evans, David, Wirfs, Winfield), improved in the Draft and now have the best Safety Corps in the NFL...Falcons have a HC with a 35% win average, Past his Prime QB that couldnt win in the Playoffs in his prime and coming off a major injury, plus a bottom 15 Defense. You are in the same group of Talking Heads that picked the Bucs to win 4-5 games last year. Do better.

Bottom 15 defense? The Falcons had the 11th total defense last year and that was without a top 15 pass rusher in Judon and a second top 5 safety in Simmons. They are going to be top 10 this year easy, they were top 10 last year until the last 2 weeks where they dropped to 11th.
