Great project but when you added iodine solution to the mixture the graphite layer began to destroying, it was much better that add the iodine solution to titanium dioxide before put the glasses together and also this method help to better control for adding iodine solution and it's needed amount, Thank you again for sharing this great DIY project :)

platinized glass would work as well- right?
platinic acid decomposes into platinum at high temperature- 500*C at most, but works to some extent at just 200/300*C as well

May i ask where do you buy the materials? What are the quantities and concentration of the chemical?
And also what is the concentration of nitric acid.if the concentration is greater 3 percent, the buyer has to hold a home office license which I don't have
I'm not trying to be negative about this but, I'm paying .17cents a piece for solar cells already made. Just wire them together and solder. Can't beat that price and convenience.

Boosting the voltage directly from solar panel with a converter may not be a good idea, you can use multiple solar panels or omit the buck regulator in the foldable panel( inside it contains 5v buck converter ) to reach 15v

You go to any medical center and ask for iodine solution, It's used widely.

better you use a small screen printing stencil for apply layer on glass...you can make any size stencil..easily using nylon bolting cloth and any frame

no. What makes glass conductive is Oxide coating of Tin.

The solar panels bought cost a larger fee for the convenience of a company making it for you. I was seeing if this process here can be used on a larger scale and work efficient.
