I want to say something perhaps a little unexpected. The way you handled this interview with Phyllis, from talking about her brand to truly listening and valuing what she had to say without patronizing her is MUCH APPRECIATED. Black women receive a pitiful fraction of the venture capital others receive, even though we are among the top business starters; we are seldom taken seriously in the American business landscape. You demonstrated so much dignity and respect for her brand and her personally, that it made me love and appreciate your brand even more. Thank you ❤

What she said made a lot of sense to me. I've been struggling with thinking I have to show so much of my life to be authentic but being uncomfortable with that

Sweetheart, you get to decide the boundaries of your personal brand. I just happened to name mine so I know when to STFU.

I'm concvinced that Phyllis is an empathetic listener. She seems like the typical talkative mother but, surprisingly, she takes time to shut her mouth and listen. A very good quality for a coach

Have to shut up long enough to know if I can or SHOULD be of assistance.

Overcoming imposter syndrome is a huge challenge for many, so hearing her strategies will be invaluable.

If you're a puzzler you can be a strategist. You get all the pieces and you figure out how they work together.

Hi Stephen I happen to be a traditional BTL and channel marketing manager without any digital marketing experience. I have worked in India for 15 plus years. I love brand management but haven't done that. Can you pls guide me how can I become a brand manager or get to work as a brand manager without sacrificing my salary that I earn as of now
