Hi Trucker Josh they did a really good job on Old Blue glad your safe on the road have fun with your family and all the appliances look great you and Britt it's nice seeing you and Britt and Theo he's a good little helper god bless and stay safe
I was told never to lay a fridge on its side or back, always keep them upright. Apparently, it's hard on the compressor. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But just what I've always been told. I moved furniture for 5 years, and we were always told to never lay fridges or freezers and / or LED TVs on their backs or sides.
You are right! Always transport a refrigerator or freezer in the upright position otherwise the springs (made for noise and vibration reduction) holding the compressor tend to break or stretch. The compressor always needs to be in the upright position to prevent this problem.
There is oil in the refrigerant itself so when it's tipped over for extended periods it drips and moves into areas it doesn't need to be, clogs up expansion valves and such. As long as you sit it upright for a few hours or a day before plugging in it should be fine.
I've heard that many times and I damaged a flat screen TV back in 2015 laying it flat. I would think the fridge will be fine or the store manager would have said something.
Man Theo is getting big he was a big help on moving the fridge. I had to get a new coffee maker last night mine just wasn't warming like it should've been which I had it for years. I Just got a basic one from Walmart. Glad you got ole blue fixed and ready to go.
Seeing you drive down Dougald Rd brought back a ton of childhood memories. I grew uo one block over from Dougald road at the highway 12 junktion in Anola. Have not traveled that road in 13 years and only visited home maybe once a year since 98. One day soon I will make a trip for a visit that way just to see whats changed.
I got up that Friday morning last week...looked outside, loaded up Manitoba511 and said nope...not going anywhere! Thankfully work is Monday thru Thursday...we were closed Friday. That was insane weather.
not related to the video at all, but i had to tell y’all about this. i kept seeing Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane mentioned everywhere-in youtube comments, even random convos with friends. i caved and read it, and wow. within two weeks, i started seeing my dream life come together. it’s not about wishful thinking-it actually teaches you how to align your energy to make it happen.
If you have to haul a fridge laying down. Make sure the compressor side is lowest to the ground. Then set up straight and let it sit for an hour or so. Good to go.
Appliances sure don't last like they use too. My house had the same fridge from the time I was born until I decided it was finally time for an upgrade 38ish years and it is still working in my garage, It's replacement lasted 4 years and was dead.
Hi Josh, in a vlog some years back you said that you liked people from the south. Why not move to the south and drive mainly in the US. You would not have to deal with crossing the border and get rid of the extra food left over. Not to mention the less chance of snow and extreme cold temperatures. Thank you for making your films, it is so nice. Jim
i know this is a bit off-topic, but i couldn’t keep this to myself. i kept seeing people rave about Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane in the comments of so many videos, and even some of my friends mentioned it. i decided to give it a shot, and it’s been a game-changer. i’m finally seeing things fall into place-career, relationships, even my confidence. if you’ve been stuck, this book might be exactly what you need
Didn't you have an emergency airbag replacement not too long ago? I too am very particular about who I trust working on any of my vehicles. As this is always the case... something that went bad, magically fixes itself or maybe it just needed a total dethaw. A shop fridge is always a good idea. Sorry about all the money you've had to spend on new appliances for your home. Take care and drive carefully Trucker Josh.
It could be an issue with the self-defroster or the fan. There are appliance repair people. Why not get them to look at the fridge rather than a costly expenditure like a fridge? You must have bought all this stuff at The Brick.
Ours did that we had a friend that has his own business come check it out.First thing he did was cleaned the coils under it and that was all he needed to do started working fine didnt have any other problems. Im not saying that was your problem but ours did same thing as yours .
Josh if you have to eventually rid of the older fridge, call Mb Hydro they’ll pick it up for free and pay you $30 New fridges are more efficient easier on power Enjoy your new fridge Ron
Do you know the difference between a Peterbilt and a porcupine? The porcupine has the pricks on the outside 🤣 Happy Birthday Todd You got a new frig, does that make you a cool Daddy? Stay safe and warm
First world problems…. A very wealthy and successful man once told me. “Making money is easy, keeping it is the hard part.” New fridge new furniture to ruin? Keep it tight. Never know what the future holds. B
I watched an older video (2988 maybe?), where you talked about the Perimeter Highway. I believe you said you thought it was built to keep Winnipegers from leaving the city, in the event there was a leak of a pathogen from the National Microbiology Lab. That is complete poppycock; just a wacky conspiracy theory. The Perimeter was built in the mid-50s and the NML was built in the mid-80s. The Perimeter was built to bypass traffic, plain and simple.
i know this has nothing to do with the video, but i kept seeing Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane mentioned in the comments of so many videos and even heard friends talk about it. i was skeptical, but i finally gave it a try, and honestly, it’s been life-changing. two weeks later, i’m finally in the position i’ve been manifesting for years-better opportunities, more confidence, and everything just feels aligned. had to share this with you.
this has nothing to do with the video, but i’ve been seeing comments about this book for weeks, and i couldn’t ignore it anymore. Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane was hard to track down, but it’s honestly the best decision i’ve made. it’s crazy how fast things changed for me-two weeks after reading it, i landed the opportunity i’d been waiting for and started feeling more in control of my life. i just had to tell someone about it
Great family man boy growing up fast keep
Up the great work 😊
Learning a lot about being a owner operator
Could have your favorite frig mechanic look at the frig . Don’t let anyone but your favorite frig mechanic touch it .
never move a frig on its SIDE,,,,,,,if you do.......let it stand up right for a day before plugging it in
Hi Trucker Josh they did a really good job on Old Blue glad your safe on the road have fun with your family and all the appliances look great you and Britt it's nice seeing you and Britt and Theo he's a good little helper god bless and stay safe
8 inches here in Florida. 8 inches of snow yes you saw that right. SNOW.
Looks like it might be a good shop fridge Josh
Nice waiting room in that dealership Josh, almost forget you're in a garage...

As long as you let them sit without plugging them in for a while after plugging them upright its okay

Yeah I was hoping they told you that Josh. At least 24 hrs before you should plug it in if transported on its side. 👌🏼
I've heard that many times and I damaged a flat screen TV back in 2015 laying it flat. I would think the fridge will be fine or the store manager would have said something.

Busy weekend for you. So glad you have a new helper. Theo. He was a big help😅 Hi Britt, always good to see you, even if only for a few.....❤
It's been a while since I watched your blog. I can't believe how much your boy has grown.
Seeing you drive down Dougald Rd brought back a ton of childhood memories. I grew uo one block over from Dougald road at the highway 12 junktion in Anola. Nice to see Theo so willingly help you around the house. Cute little boy. You and Brit are very fortunate.
Look at Theo getting so big he was a good helper love your family and God Bless
Congrats on your shopping spree savings. You killed three birds with one stone. But you didn't get a Timmies. Lol
I'm sure you know but if you hauled that frig on it's side, you need to wait 24 hours before you plug it in due to the refrigerant.
Happy 50th Todd🎉
I got up that Friday morning last week...looked outside, loaded up Manitoba511 and said nope...not going anywhere! Thankfully work is Monday thru Thursday...we were closed Friday. That was insane weather.
I hope you got stainless steel cleaner with the refrigerator. My son had our stainless appliances all fingerprinted up when he was Theo's age. 😄
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TODD PRAY YOU HAD A AWESOME BIRTHDAY !!!🎂 🍻
Thx for the video. Be safe out there. God bless you and your family.

Great video sir, From Myrtle Beach South carolina.
Thanks for watching!
Your Michigan viewers thank you for buying a Whirlpool!
Good to hear. It's insane that so many large appliances come from as far as South Korea.
And it helps that the new the truck before you bought it to like they did all the work on the truck before you bought it
the fact that you say Peterbuilt and kenworth is the same even though they are rivals is crazy
lol if u want remote empty space try coming to drive in Australia we have just a little bit of that here to
Next time, if available, consider a used refrigerator. The difference is amazing.
OH MY GOODNESS THEO IS GETTING SO BIG !! ADORABLE !!

Guess the old saying goes “ If the wheels aren’t turning, you aren’t earning “ .
Really nice shop.
Proud of him
Well that’s the US a big deal would be an owner operator at you got a find a shop that you’re comfortable with
Boy Theo sure has grown.
We just bought a new stove today, as well! They don't make them like they used to😢
Sounds like the ice maker is trying to make ice and probably isn't hooked up check and see if someone didn't bump the wire in the ice tray

Hope you let the fridge set for 24hr to let oil drain back down.
I agree the shop lot easier.
Whirlpool is a good brand.

Josh would you be so kind to tell me what brand that keystone western jacket is? Thats a sweet jacket.
Why don't you double up the parts you replaced today, throw them in the tool box,the roads are so rough, the suspension takes a real beating
Nooooooooo! Broken usually means $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!
Is there a light in your air intake, or is it a pre-heater?
appliance remodel
Your fridge just might need a new part, Josh. I’m Andrew. I don’t know. Especially since I’m definitely not an expert in that area.
I really need a trucker to bring me under his wing to become a gooder trucker after my private course is done and passed my license
Hi Bro. Every time my wife wants a new appliance the 1 she wants replaced " suddenly " starts making weird noises. strange coincidence LOL
Maybe time to replace the wife instead
@@ronkennedy213😂😂😂😂
Do not buy any LG fridges they only last 3 years if ur lucky
