Talk about spare no expense it's like they wrote you a blank check Love the build but who the hell picked out that decal job ? It looks like something that belongs on the streets of France ! 🇫🇷⚽️
@@TheJoeSwanon it's much more viable than solid white or just a red stripe. Yellow and blue are the most eye catching colors. Tradition doesn't equal effective.
different departments have different liveries, for instance my department (in Ohio) has the blue/yellow checker on the trunk / tailgate of their newer chargers / silverados
Beautiful job guys!! Looks like the customer is going to install any two-way radios themselves, did you pre-installed any antenna mounts/cable for them, so their installer doesn't have to rip down the headliner again?
Early on in the video, they talked about "covert." It doesn't seem like it would be covert if the side of the vehicle floods white when a door opens. Is that only when the module in the light bar doesn't detect sunlight, or is it an all the time thing?
Are you using the carbide to do the pattern on the grill mounted tracers? Or are you using the tracer internal flasher? Love the pattern, just trying to figure out how to do it! (I'm talking the red/ white pattern when it is in Slide Position 3) Love the truck!

Okay after some research... it appears this project costs the county $85K. I would be interested to know how much was spent on the lights and siren outfitting. www.co.cal.md.us/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/_01312017-1246
this is so much overkill. Why do american departments tend to waste so much money on lights? A simple lightbar and some grill lights do the job just as good...
Because American drivers are idiots and refuse to move out of the way of emergency vehicles. These lights greatly increase safety and also double for scene illumination, which is critical on night time calls.
Arsch Geweih this is a concern, which is why we a have dimmers. To answer your second question, sometimes. Ambulances have a minimum but there is no max.
Total overkill. A push bumper for a paramedic staff vehicle? Help me understand the logic of this. More lights because drivers are idiots? When you build cars that look like a space shuttle, it likely contributes to more driver distraction. Rather than make statements of emotion, show the studies that support more lights results in drivers pulling over quicker.
I miss Cordell!
Open the door and blind yourself every time. The light bar alley should turn off when the door is open not on.
Outstanding video. Great to see the install area, and it was cool that you took a look into detail all of the functions.

The decal doesn't look really American if you ask me looks French or British
Mahin Miah its been proven that the checkerboard pattern is much more noticable.
In the uk this deckle or Battenberg as it sometimes caled is used for our Coast Guard

I didn’t see a customer supplied radio. Did I miss it?
Just curious to ask why the Carbide control head is mounted overhead, rather than in the HAVIS console?

Does Carbide offer more options/functionality than SoundOff's BluePrint, or are they relatively equal?
Where did you install CenCom Carbide control module?

If you're going fast enough and drive off a ramp. We would not recommend this.

Seriously, it's pronounced "wheel-in." Whelen is a last name.
Kallus Rourke They are a company that sell Whelen products. They should be able to pronounce the name correctly.
Even Whelen themselves pronounce it "Whaylen", so.
