Hey Don, I just found your new channel and subscribed. Going back over to dee dee to view the Jig Borer vids. Appreciate your long-term knowledge, great vids, I love em all. Kurt.
A Wohlhaupter boring head in action. Now I know I’m living tall. Very, very cool. Maybe when I grow up my Kaiser head will become a Wohlhaupter ? My goodness that is a beautiful operation to watch done. Exciting video. Thank DD.
I remember you as being a good guy there, the scum bag machine dealer owner, his troll termite, texas gunsmith and dipsh*t Cal used that site and personal info they had to stalk harass, and threaten me. The 3 web forums are fake f*cks for profit. Truly a racist connected bunch that runs all web forums that has spilled over to here, but this time no bullying, I have bounced more than ten of those idiots off my channel I am being accused of leading youth astray as was on DTs scum bag site. How would fake machinist know anyway? Being a former Harley Davison I was trained to deal with bullies. Thanks for tuning in!
That’s a nice boring head. Sometimes you go big, or go home! That finish looks great. With the extension’s, how far of a reach will it have? I’m down to looking for tooling for my Precision Matthews PM-727V bench mill now. Thanks again for sharing!
Yes the machine must be set for speed first because it is recommended to park the machine at 1250 to help from getting a kink or set in the expensive belts by keeping them in the center of the pulleys.at mid speed The machine should be run from high to low twice to lube the upper drive moving components before using the machine. I just moved the Wolly to the #2 mills vertical head .40 taper and I will try the same on another junk back plate. I will be adding the Tree head in also. I think I can save 2 junk scroll chucks.

Thanks for that!
Excellent video! I can fully understand your enthusiasm about the Wohlhaupter head, which is my favorite tool.
Hi, yes, the head really adds versatility to the mill type machines, thanks for tuning in!
Donie, You have a lot of nice stuff going on. There are quite a few more videos I need to watch. Thanks, Mark (morsetaper2 from PM)

Love the demo. Nuff said.
Thank you
Beautiful!!! Thanks dee dee.
You are so welcome
Nice. I didn't think about trying while on the chuck.
Hi, thanks for tuning in!
That's a big boy! I'm still searching for one of the rare Wohlhaupter #1's to join my #2 and #3.
I didn't know they made one that small
Hi Don, great video. Could you please explain the concave comment at 4.36. You said you would explain but it must have slipped through the crack..
Wow, that head is in great shape. We have a big one at work. It's in good shape but darker. Can you explain the slightly concave part? @4:45

I have faced parts up to 14", thanks!
I have a No2 and I was curious of the method for locking the quill during pocket milling operations?
Lot of weight slinging around with that facing head -- would hate to accidentally start it up in a high speed range .

Wonder what those cost new? Had to be like jewelry.
That model was $9000, but I found it at Boeing surplus $350.
