Erin Gabe and Nellie were the only new characters that were tolerable.. although Jo was ok. I didn’t like Karen, California and Will Farrell”s character were horrible, and the worst thing the office did was invent Andy. He’s such a terrible character and real life actor who made the show unwatchable much of the time.

Agreed. I never really got invested in her romantic relationships in the show, but the character was still great. The best relationship she had was with Michael, it's a shame they didn't have more time together to develop it more.
9:30 I love the little detail of the camera focussing in Phyllis. For those who don’t know or remember, Phyllis gave away her baby when she was in high-school. Which make me cry a little when I first watch this scene, cause Phyllis reaction was melancholy and emotional. I really cry in that scene, what am I saying, I was a walking sea when I watched it.

Ellie Kemper said in an interview for "The AV Club" in 2010 that she was initially slated to appear in only four episodes of season 5... her character ended up being included in season 6 as main character until the finale.
I wanna find the clip where Michael and Holly argue in front of the whole office and Michael storms off, Holly goes after him, and Erin physically steps in front of her to protect Michael. Such a pure expression of her admiration for Michael, and how she is protecting her “father.”

I don't know about the others but Michael was definitely like a father figure to her. Erin was the only female in the show towards whom Michael showed zero sexual interest and the dynamic of father-daughter between them actually worked.

When Erin found her birth mom and dad that was honestly the sweetest moment in the show to me. Some moments came close but that just really made the show feel as if it could really end, and when Michael came back for Dwight's wedding.

That's a damn good point. Miss Cusack is a phony! She got it from the show. Once the doc aired, its surprising there weren't hundreds of claimants.
I like to think of it as Erin liked her new nickname and embraced it (despite it just being handed to her as a convenience for others) and the mother calling her Erin was the mother respecting Erin for who she is.

Well I didn't like it either but it totally made sense. Andy has a really low self-esteem which makes him want to seek for everyone else's approval, which includes the office, his parents, Cornell people, even Erin's. That's why he's always saying stuff or singing so everyone notices and likes him. With that kind of personality, It didn't really make much sense that he changed without realizing that he needs to do what he wants, and not what pleases everybody. That's why he failed at singing and got back to Cornell, having changed after all he went through. That's why he says "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days"; that sentence means that he finally understood how he wasted so much time trying. Erin was an obstacle for that change because she admired Andy too much, rewarding his bad behaviour
