Her show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was also hilarious. The male lead, Tituss being much like that of Michael, having to parent her and not originally wanting to. lol
Erin was a fun character. She had a great dynamic with Michael- it was both sweet and funny. She later had a fun dynamic with Dwight in embracing his insanity. It’s too bad the writers spent so much time putting her in stupid love triangles because they were trying to repeat early Jim and Pam stuff.
Things changed after Steve Carrel left the show, but when Ed Helms took that big break for The Hangover, the writers made only poor decisions for her character. The same happened for a good part of the cast in the final seasons, but for Erin and Andy (when he returned), it was a complete waste of their characters.
This exactly. I would have loved erin in it from the beginning. The chemistry between Michael and Erin was far better then Pam. Hated her character. They could have still done the romance thing with her as a saleswoman. Anyway agree the forced romance thing was just stupid. Almost as bad as letting Steve Carell go.
for me, Erin is one of the freshest characters that every existed on a TV show. Everytime I see her I get something unexpected. The writers who made up her lines must have had so much fun. It's just so refreshing. And she plays it perfectly!
Fun fact: that actually is what the Bob Marley song means, grammatically. "Woman" is a vocative (direct address): "no, woman, no cry. Hey, little sister, don't shed no tears..."
Erin is an amazing character. I just wish they didn't make her ping-pong between boyfriends just because she's a pretty young woman. Like, first Andy, then Gabe, then Andy again, and then Pete... All of this back and forth should've been replaced by more of these funny moments of her just being herself
Yes, and they made Andys Character a Jerk all of a suddon for no reason. His Behaviour changes extremely and it didn't make sense for him to become this much of an a*hole. I wished they would have kept Andys and Erins Story a kind of a healthy couple or say a happy couple with struggles. Jim and Pam were bot a healthy couple but a kind of a happy couple because they went therapy and they grow as people - I hope.
They shot themselves in the foot by ruining Andy. Ever since Erin was introduced it was clear that she was perfect for Andy and that the plan was for them to end up together eventually. But they literally COULDN’T let Erin end up with Season 9 Andy because he is absolutely a different character and we like her too much to watch her be neglected by him But it sucks because that was like… half of what both their characters still had going for them. It was their biggest arc and it was just completely ruined
A favorite Erin line when an angry DM salesman from NY comes into the office looking for Dwight Schrute and Jim Halpert: "Dwight, Jim, what are your last names?"
3:56 You knew that she was actually right with this one? I was always kinda bummed out bc actually it means "Woman, don't cry". The lyric is sometimes misunderstood outside Jamaica to mean "if there is no woman, there is no reason to cry". But it's supposed to mean "No woman, nuh cry"
Erin: GET IN QUICK!!
Michael: ...why quick...
Erin: So it is FASTER 💀
i have been laughing for almost 10 min with that line.
Michael:😑
Ellie Kemper is so incredibly talented. 👏👏👏👏♥
That's what she... never mind
I paused the video at that line I was laughing so hard lol
Erin is a golden retriever and Michael is the dad that never wanted a dog but eventually ends up loving it more than anyone else
Her show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was also hilarious. The male lead, Tituss being much like that of Michael, having to parent her and not originally wanting to. lol
Michael never ended up loving Erin like that. Even Pam is closer to Michael.
"In the foster home, my hair was my room"
Such a good line - tells us so much about her in simple dialogue and action.
Steve's delivery of "I don't know what the f**k that was" is perfect XD
"An age or month?" o.O - Watching Michael Scott dumbfounded by someone else's idiocy is just *chef's kiss*
You know someone is stretching the definition of a functioning brain when even Michael is dumbfounded. 😂

Oh yeah i agree that was her character did not make any sense,
She is like Cheryl in Archer
Things changed after Steve Carrel left the show, but when Ed Helms took that big break for The Hangover, the writers made only poor decisions for her character.
The same happened for a good part of the cast in the final seasons, but for Erin and Andy (when he returned), it was a complete waste of their characters.
womp womp

Erin thinking that her coworkers are plotting to kill her for the life insurance money is brilliant 😂.
"EAT IT, STANLEY!"
Erin was a fantastic addition to the show!
fucking how
I agree with you! Ignore the other guy who replied.
@@Vimukta Yup
Ellie Kemper played the part brilliantly.
Waaay better than Robert California
"Who says none of us are diarrheal"🤣🤣
**WINK**
'Suddenly I was awake' is my go to way to recount my day now.
I swear Office always destroyed it with one liners and perfectly normal setups that you don't see coming.
That Disposable Camera thing. 🤣🤣
I love that joke.
"YOU READ THE FAX" has me dead-
Sadly you cut "Scissor me!" Erin just tossing them at Michael with such trust and him catching them like he did was great synergy between them.
2 times too lol. I remember Pam's face of shock and yelling at them
This is the first time I ever noticed "WHAT ELSE YOU GOT" while andy is screaming in pain on the floor
lmao i just clocked that & i’m literally crying rn💀💀💀😭😭😭😭😂
I think about it all of the time. It encapsulates the energy I accidentally bring to a lot of things
@@ColletteAileen we need more like you
0:18 you know it's bad when even Michael Scott can't handle your craziness levels and has to give serious replies like this one lol
Erin's feelings about Ryan overusing the color printer are valid
for me, Erin is one of the freshest characters that every existed on a TV show. Everytime I see her I get something unexpected. The writers who made up her lines must have had so much fun. It's just so refreshing. And she plays it perfectly!
Angela mentoring Erin to be an accountant has some of the best Erin moments ever!
What episode? I don't remember that
@@juhigoyal374 It was a bonus webisode.
"She's gonna be like 'What's your stance on politics?' or 'What is the best war to do?'" lmaooo
If that was in any way political messaging, I LOVE IT.
Michael and Erin are as close to father and daughter as either one of them ever actually had❤️❤️
“EAT IT STANLEY!” 😂😂 that clip was gold
We need a best of Erin and Kelly, their best friendship seems so overlooked😩
Agreed! I wish there were more scenes of Erin and Kelly friendship. Can you imagine all the shenanigans? 😂 Such a missed opportunity.
Kinda makes sense, technically they're also both Kelly
One of the rare characters who was a hit right from her debut!
Fun fact: that actually is what the Bob Marley song means, grammatically. "Woman" is a vocative (direct address): "no, woman, no cry. Hey, little sister, don't shed no tears..."
Yes, but it's not meant to be taken quite so aggressively
@@thesprawl2361 FALSE. Bob Marley was an extremely aggressive person.

The cow mood yesterday LMAO
"Suddenly, I was awake." 😂 7:05

I just realized Erin might be my favorite character 😂
does anyone remember Dwight taught Erin how to speak Dothraki? FOTH AGGENDA!

True. Very true

Really good actor. She seems like a real person.
i love her character, and that's something in such series packed by bangers :)
Erin boiling the gatorade for tea is my favorite underrated joke
I'm pretty convinced Erin is Kimmy from The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Not only the same actress, I mean the same character, same universe, etc.
soo true
Right!!!
"What is the best war to do" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oscar: You could have played mood.
Erin: ugh, like the cow moo'ed yesterday. 😂 7:27
"What's in this tea?"
"Oh, I boiled some *gatorade* "
A favorite Erin line when an angry DM salesman from NY comes into the office looking for Dwight Schrute and Jim Halpert: "Dwight, Jim, what are your last names?"
The disposable camera scene is one of my favorites
Ellie is arguably one of the greatest cast additions to the show.
“You realize it doesn’t have to just be cow stuff right?” 😂😂
She could play Amelia Bedalia from the children's book
that's such a perfect role for her omfg
YES
Yo actually perfect
Green light that !
erin is the embodiment of "she's a little confused but she's got the spirit"
Erin was fascinating. She shocked me when she said that Andy’s a capella drama was pathetic.
I always loved Michael and Erin's relationship!
Yo finally someone else who noticed this lol
I never heard it the second way. The correct way seems so obvious to me.
🤔 What? Who are your friends, Bro? 🤔
Erin's rating of Holly makes a weird kind of sense
Now I'm wondering which one of my ears ranks higher than the other...
Her delivery…second to none!
"You coulda played MOOD." "Oh yeah, like 'the cow mood yesterday'". So well-delivered, and so great
"Shes stuck on that one thing" is the most its always sunny in philadelphia line in the office
This was truly immense 😄
The camera in the bin is one of the top 5 moments of this show 😂😂😂
i love erin so muchh
Most underrated character, IMO. She was such a unique goof! “What’s the best war to do?”😂
8:07 Kevin’s poor sad face 🥺
"Oh I boiled some Gatorade😂😂"
Erin might be my fav character tbh 😂
She was one of the best characters, I don't care if she's not an original cast member. She's comic relief and I love her!
we didnt get enough time with Erin.
Who says none of us are diarrheal?
She had the 7th most amount of lines in the show and started more than half way in. I'd say we got enough time
Pecker poker, the game cards that gets you haarrwhd
I love Erin so much 🥺
"Suddenly I was awake" what a come back 😂😂
I worked at a Taco Bell express, but then it became a regular Taco Bell and I couldn’t keep up. lmao
“Get in! Quick!”
“Why ‘quick’?”
“Because it’s faster!”
The simplicity of common sense
She’s not wrong.
You probably shouldn't keep a baby up that late
"YEAH LIKE A FAVORITE MONTH, LIKE. I LIKED APRIL... WHEN I WAS SEVEN" I am fucking dead
Micheal Scott got his equal! LOVELY!!
I love Erin so much
The smirk she gives at 9:18😂
Erin was who Michael would have been if he wasn't the manager. That's why they click.
YOU LEFT ME IN CHARGGEGEGE OF THE PENS PAM..THATS WHAT HAPPENED…THE PENS HAPPENED 😭
Friendly reminder that Ryan started the fire
Fire-d Guy
🎶RYAN STARTED THE FIRE! IT WAS ALWAYS BURNING SINCE THE WORLD'S BEEN TURNING!🎶
Erin is top tier characters in the shows.
I loved Michael & Erin’s bond
I loved her hair in the earlier seasons with the curved ends It was so so cute 🥹
She had curls later
My fav character
"NO WOMAN, NO CRY!" 🤣
"All that color😒"
I love Erin so much. The way Andy treated her was so horrible
The best character to be added into the show by far.
“i’ve got a big box, yes i do”
“that’s what she said!”
Ironically, the title of "No woman no cry" is exactly like Erin read it. It's meant as "No, woman, don't cry".
Punctuation would've been a good idea for the songwriter then
@@nthgth no need, just listen to the lyrics.

Disposable cameras?!?!!?

That joke was too much back then, it’s even more so explaining it to kids these days!
Reusing the hotdog water is crazy 🤣
“I was reading the mattress tag and I fell asleep!” 😅 🛌
if Holly is Michael's mirror-self, Erin is what Michael'd look alike when he's 20 yr old
Usually when characters are added in later seasons, they’re annoying, but Erin and also Nate were great additions. The fitted in seamlessly
You left me in charge of the pens, Pam...that's what happened
the 1490s got me good.
Princess ding dong is harsh. Erin was a solid twist for the show.
Erin always made me laugh
“in the foster home, my hair was my room”
it’s jared’s trick! iykyk
That was the perfect first scene 😂
When Dwight entered the room at the end there, you knew something was up!

EAT IT, STANLEY !!! xD
I don't know how one comes up with Erin's brilliant lines and for the record her pseudonym is space orphan.
Probably Mindy Kaling.
I canNOT believe they covered that beautiful hardwood with gray carpet
