No I did not get it fixed but I got a correct diagnosis on this situation. The failure is the low one way clutch (sprag) and/or the inner sprag clutch part of the first gear . In other words this is a mechanical problem with the first gear of the transmission thus the transmission need to be rebuilt again.
Shift solenoid must be, and she will last you another hundred thousand miles. Honda transmissions are very different

Same they told me 2200 for the rebuilt ....
Change the shift solenoid and it will be fine...... promise...
