When the outside alarms were first installed which was only a few weeks ago they were on for around 10 minutes each time. Oh yes totally agree it's good for spotters....when it catches u off guard your heart slips a beat!! I've head they were put in because of the building site next-door however I've beeb told that they're permanent. Yes Avonmouths getting one, I've already filmed it doing Driver training back in February.......my guess would be within the next 2 weeks until its put on the run

are the external alarms going to be permanently in place I've heard that Avon frs is going to keep them in place to use as pedestrian warning
