Yep same. I had bought moto Edge 30 and it didn't even last me 2 years properly. Sure, it was my fault that I spilled some water. But the lack of service centres is a big issue.

you will never get. companies never create long lasting mobile except Apple[They make 10 year device and slow them by update]. They want to make it deficient in one point at least. So that you can switch easily. But later on game changes, they started Apple by slowing, bricking devices.

When I was using a motorola phone from 2017-2022 ( 2 smartphone) that time the phone was okayish but now I am using pixel phone and motorola launches the best phone with the best prices and a lot of specifications.
I read/saw somewhere that GG3 or GG5 is just the type.. but different brands sre using different thicknesses of the same GG3 or GG5 or Victus whichever it is. The thickness they have used is what matters more.

The asus zenfone 10 had an exeptional battery life for a 4300 mah battery, nearly double that of pixel 8 so maybe this phone here might even just give a full day with moderate usage (considering a "slow" processor and LTPO display).

Moto edge 40 user here, don't buy moto phones if u have a phone from samsung, google or nothing brand. All you'll receive is security patches in the name of software updates. They don't fix any bugs or give feature-drop updates at all!
Don't go for it. This has a Gorilla Glass 3 in 2024 when other brands are giving GG5 in this range. Also, Motorola gives updates very slowly. Camera app is laggy so it can ruin the experience of taking photos. Processor is also mid and since youre shifting from a semi-flagship phone- better go for something else. Moto is just launching phone after phones these days without improving software smootness and reliability.
People be using softwares of Redmi, Realme, Oneplus, etc should never comment on Moto phones. Moto stock software makes it a standout itself. You will realise the difference between the speed of phones after some time. Only Motorola phones runs smooth even after 2 years just because it doesn't have any Bloatwares.
Everything is fine but Motorola seriously needs to fix the camera app accross all the edge 50 series. Otherwise there will be no use even if they give 3 camera's also....
