- Hello my Good Friends! :)
I hope you are all doing fine!
We are all affected by the COVID-19 Virus, and these are really difficult times.. but stay positive, don't give up, we will get through this together!
Also my content is affected by it.. i had many plans for content.. but it's all canceled right now.
We can't cross the border, so i can't detect on the spots where i usually go.. i've been working hard on new content, and i really hope you like it!
I hope i can entertain you in Quarantine / Lockdown!
We went to a lot of different spots, searching for relics, and we had success!
It took some time, but we found some really cool items, and every single find has it's own story!
Also.. i'm working on a new project.. something crazy.. you know what that means.. more content for YOU! :)
Stay safe everyone, i hope you enjoy the video!!

My dad does a lot of Metal detecting in the country side of Estonia, not a ton of world war era stuff, mostly Russian Tsar-Era coins and pieces of old farm equipment. He would love to Metal detect in an area like that. ^-^
Once corona is over you should go detect in Hannut. There was a huge tank battle
Omg i live 30 minutes away from that place
Kermit Kinkermans go there and record, don’t even need to have audio just want to see if you find something cool
OH GOD, he's going to rebuild the
Siegfried line in his back garden
ani som nečakal že niaky iný slovák pozerá history secrets :D
No hes going to rebuild the maginot line
No even worse... THE HINDENBURG LINE!!!
From the USA California lots of navy ships here from WWII

Same where I live there is no war or that much history at all ps I live in 🇨🇦
Yes plz
Yes
The other day I went outside with my metal detector and found two 1942 dated m1 carbine rounds and a 1939 us coin .
That's really cool!
Thanks the reason I found it is because the 36th infantry division trained in Texas during world War 1 and world war 2
@@History-Secrets amazing
I'm really struggling mentally atm with depression cause of lockdown and your videos brighten my day up to make me smile keep it up
I am too. Hang in there!!
You doing better?
You doing better?
Has a marine that served I wanted you to know how important it is for you to show the following soldiers!. It doesn’t matter what their commanders thought. They where professional soldiers that served their country!!!. Thanks for remembering them. Has many of us do !!.
I couldn’t imagine actually holding something fr the war in your hands !!! I’m a History nut lol studied the wars since I was a kid , also had family members serve overseas 2 great uncles and my grandfather with the Canadian military, my great uncles war helmet is on display at the national war museum in Ottawa , my grandmother served with the RAF as a signal corps woman , married my grandfather and came to Canada as a war bride & veteran herself 🇬🇧 🇨🇦
I’m so jealous!! I would love to be in those places! Good look whit the bunker👍👍👍👍
Op de 25 min vind je een opwaaianker van een huis. De staaf zit aan de balk vast en de kop zie je op de buitengevel . Alleen bij oudere huizen. Toffe video bedankt daarvoor groet
After the virus you should go to the Pacific and find so many relics there
It's a beautiful place with a lot of History for sure!
Nick,
I can't wait to see your bunker! That's so cool!😎
Lots of great finds this time! That fuse is particularly fine. And a hammered coin, how cool is that? Lots of other coins, too, that odd "coin" you found would be known in the states as a "token" or coin replacement.
I do love those 50 caliber casings and bullets! Imagine one of those coming at you!!!😳
So glad you were able to get out, and thanks for sharing your great finds with us!
Take care, my friend!
Cindy
Hello, hope you are keeping well and safe in these wierd times! Some very interesting finds, love the condition of the fuse part with the markings. As someone who loves to collect casings I though i could help with the one at 16:21. It is ''В Т З'' just like you said, I found some myself and they usually had a blueish-purple colour around the primer. I'm not sure if you did any more research on the factory, but from my research i found its from Војенно-Тецхницзескиј Завод Крагујевац or Wojenno - Techniczeskij Zavod, de Kragujevac, from the city of Kragujevac in Yugoslavia. There was also a ''A T 3'' marking from the same city. Hope I helped a little as you also helped me a few times :) . Waiting patiently for a tour of the bunker build!
Hi
Will you do another magnetic fishing video (they are sooo funny)?
And also what kind of metal detector do you think is the best for starting this hobby?
Anyway I love this channel, it makes the quarantine less boring.
Keep it up!
I love Magnet Fishing, and will do more in the future!
I use the XP Deus metal detector, but it's really expensive.
There are many good detectors to start with, but i don't know much about them because i'm using this one for a long time now.
I'm glad you like my channel, stay safe!
The bunker will be the thing ever
I hope so!!
@@History-Secrets I mean it's a good thing to do while quarantine
Great Video, Great Weather, Great Finds, Great to see you out Metal Detecting again Thumbs up Nik
The stick thing with metal at the bottom might be a ”boomstick” like a call them. A thing with the german stick grenades (the cans) at the bottom
Idk
Edit: hi history secrets, i love your channel!
Would you ever be a guide for others who’d like to detect there? I’m in the US but I’d fly over there to do this (when the virus is under control) in a heartbeat.
Irate Puffin same
I live on Belgium and went to hannut. There was a big tank battle. Definitely found some cool stuff there, but you wont find a lot of shellcasings, coins,...
No problem 🤝 you are welkom
Simho cool, what did you find?
16:47 i have exactly the same coin!!! Mine is from 1834! I reconised it immiditly sorry for the bad Englisch
Groetjes van een Nederlandse fan!😃
No thats okay, he is from the Netherlands too!
Great video as always my friend! Wish I could be out there with you!
Thank you very much!
@@History-Secrets No, its you who deserves the thanks. Your videos are inspiring, educational and most of all exciting! Keep it up brotha.
I love ww2 and ww1 it’s so interesting
Awesome finds as always! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I love the metal detecting videos! Always a treat! 👌🏻👌🏻
Coronavirus is getting a bit much right now. As much as I enjoy watching the back garden trench stuff etc. its the metal detecting videos I really like to see. Fingers crossed we can all get back to a relative normal soon and start enjoying your little trips again. Stay safe everyone 👍🏼
We are waiting for the bunker! 😁😂🙏🙏🙏
13:05 what we have here is a genuine WW2 army helmet used by the men of the 58th battalion. Truly incredible, the condition.
Love your videos love history especially WW2 and ww1
Nice pieces you’ve found there. 31:10 is probably a weather vane point.
I have been searching for a decent channel metal detecting for all things history, I have now found it. Awesome channel thankyou. I hate that I live in the wrong place for finding these sorts of things
Came here right as I got the notification! I love this channel
Awesome, and thanks!!
Erg leuke vondsten👍
I just want to say I rarely sit through 40-minute videoes, but I do with yours. Really interesting and cool too watch you do something I would like to do myself. Keep them coming :)
Nice to see you back out Nick! Im looking forward to seeing how the bunker works outYou should build it pretty good size so 4 people can fit comfortably. That would be awesome! Keep safe.
Ohw man i absolutly LOVE youre video's, verry nice finds aswell. So cool that you are now making a bunker in youre garden!
Gr. Jelle
Hey Nick,
Thanks for making quarantine better!
Watching from South Australia :)
I was so excited to get that notification and see a new medal detecting video. Love your content!!
3:57 looks like a piece from an old plough, a piece that would drag through the ground
Just got my licence in Switzerland. I also can't get across the borders to the war sites but some new videos coming soon I hope now my licence is here. Stay safe and keep making the awesome videos
Great video, how amazing to still be able to find items after all the years and so many people also searching. Can't wait to see the bunker. Hoping you get some good weather to work on it.
Holy cow I waited so long for another metal detecting vid to come out, thank you Nick!
Nick, it was so VERY GOOD to see another video, confirming that you are OKAY!!!!!!
4:00 it looks like that's a tooth from a cultivator like you can see here: www.vdw.be/media/k2/galleries/37/P26-04-014.jpg
I think you're right!!!
It is definitely a tooth from a cultivator or plow
That's what I thought too, here in the states we call them chisel plows or maybe that's just what Pennsylvania farm boys call them, we tend to make up our own words sometimes.
I found yesterday 2 casings from Finnish soviet war. That war is known better as Winter War. War war between Finnish army and Russian army during years 1930- 1940.
De 'pijlpunt' lijkt onderdeel van een windwijzer. Mooie vondsten weer👍🏻
Great video very interesting stuff and I'm excited about the bunker your making
Interesting finds! If I visit the Netherlands I know where to find some free money! I wish you luck on building that bunker! I hope it will stay spider free!
3:59 That looks to be a part of a cultivator, I saw a cultivated field earlier so makes since!
For your next vid get a flash light and explore those holes
And again a great video my friend. Can't wait till i see you again!
Enjoyed this video very much! Happy your out in the forest doing what you love:)
Oh baby!! I was waiting for one of these for awhile now. Wish I could metal detect out there!
Stay safe mate and enjoy the fresh air. We'll still be watching when you can travel
5:50 keep looking begint Nick.
Yess! A new upload! Thanks for entertaining me in quarantaine nick, groetjes uit Leiden!
I'm happy to entertain you! :)
History Secrets topper! Trouwens ik denk dat die metalen punt die je hebt gevonden misschien van een hek kan zijn gok ik
Hi Nick! I think the .50 Cal bullet You’ve found in this video is an incendiary round because of the two horizontal lines..watchout these little round can be very dangerous! Love your videos
Finally new Metal detecting video, don't forget to wash your Hands after detecting
I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the tip!
@@History-Secrets you're welcome
Good to have you back in to the fields Nick! ✌🏽
You deserve more subscribers great vid 👍
Thank you for watching!!
OMG! You found a 1942 ww2 italian helmet! It was also used to cook spaghetti noodles! 13:07
Wow! Those old coins are amazing! Watching from the US.
Be safe 😎
Hello!
That triangular thing could be a
Piece of shrapnel
A medieval arrow
Or a spear.
It is most likely an arrow since you can see there was something like a rod running in it. However it is very big, but it could have been uesed on crossbows with heavier bolts, to support the weight.
History secrets I love you man you are the only one I watch during quarantine
that scratching sound at 4:30 had my teeth gritting
Pretty sure you found an old water tank. And the smaller hatch was where the pipe valves were.
Pretty nice video, with a lot of finds ! Good job ! Keef safe during this weird situation
@History Secrets, this is a long shot but I'd like to get in touch with you to maybe purchase some stuff off you or something that you'd be willing to let go. I'm a collector and detector as well, but I don't see myself being able to go where you go anytime soon. I'd like to add a bunch of Militaria to my collection for displays. If we could maybe figure something out that'd be really cool. Stay safe, and keep on keeping on. Much love brother!
If you end up going to another militaria fair like Ciney once corona is over I would love another vlog/video on your trip and what you bought
absolutely love your videos cant wait to be able to travel and visit some of these battlefields
Very nice video👍
Try metal detecting more of the hills as well as the areas with the flatter land with the leaves over them...maybe there are some extremely hidden gems in both areas!
15the century coin, you guys are lucky to have stuff like that waiting to be found. Plus all the WW 2 stuff is cool.
Loved the video great to c u out metal detecting I'm 12 years old and I love ww1 ww2 history do another night in the trench
Strange “Viking weapon” is probibly the inside of a cart. The end bit is meant to attach to the wooden wheel.
25:48 that looks like a wheel of a German tank or a part that moves the track
It's not a drive sprocket hub. Wrong shape.
YAY A NEW VID!!!!! And nicks impressions are the funniest things 😂
I love ww2...it’s so interesting Great video....
LG HerrDjango
@@History-Secrets 35:13 dat lijkt me inderdaad iets religieus
Another great epsisode ;)
Oh yes finally new metal detecting video :D I can't wait for the bunker :)
If you’re scared I’ll go in there
A bunker next to the trench that is so awsome
Hoi wel jammer dat we niet skippen naar de volgende video 😉 maar ge hebt weer plezier beleeft op je zoektocht ook belangrijk maar onderzoek u bunker in het bos opnieuw. Kan interresant zijn. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
i love your channel
My great grandpa was in the American 3rd armored division and I'm gonna see some of his stuff this weekend! Keep up the good content 👍
Wow, that's amazing!
Bad news :( I'm sure it was gave away or something else like that. We might go and double check but my grandparents haven't found anything except for some papers and photos.
Looks like top of rouht iron fence poll 👍👍
Bedankt voor het uploaden Nick! Keek er echt naar uit :)
Nice finds the pin was awesome
25:45 I think that's an old fashioned chimney sweep
28:19 and that's probably a WWII food voucher
VTZ it's a Vojno Tehnicki Zavod from Kragujevac. This company makes ammo and weapons
Another great video:)
25:28 could be a trench raider's weapon. they made them out of anything they could find
looks to big for that
25:50 it looks like it could be part of a vehicle. I dont know anything about ww2 tanks but could it be an axle for tank treads?
Nice vid again
Thank you!! :)
Nice vid again'! Looking forward to a new trench vid!
You are my favorite tuber and i have mini ww2 collektion and i like war history
Military history
You Are amazing..... Keep up the good work 👍👍🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️👌👌👌👌
