One of the few in depth videos on mammoth bike park where the rider actually has the skills to showcase the trails 🤘 Nice video man! 11:50 what trail is this called ?
@@justing888 sigh, had to watch the video to give you an accurate answer.. Run 1- velocity- twilight- chain smoke Run 2 (6:07)- velocity (full pull) Run 3 (8:30)- brake through - flow- smooth operator Run 4 (14:40 video skips brake through)- brake through- flow- pipeline- shotgun Run 5 (19:50)- brake through - follow me
The owners at Mammoth need to invest big on nice trails so that they can get the riders to go there, none of us go there because the trails just plain suck, and its the reason why everybody talks about Whistler, those people have a full time crew and they also invest on extra help each year to have great trails, its that simple.
One of the things I love about mammoth is it’s raw-ness. I like their naturally unforgiving terrain.. Not everything has to be a dirt merchant or A-line style flow trail… BUT I will agree that maintaining a few of their trails in that flowy manner would definitely diversify the experience more and be fun to shred.
@@ShreddingSpree I just hope the owners at Mammoth can one day see that they will never get loads of people there until they invest in trails and a full time crew, its that simple.
The self shifting haha!! That totally happens after riding mammoth for a while.
Love it. Gonna go back again next week
You ride the trails so smooth and fast. I just did follow me this weekend and had a few close OTB moments.
Great vid!
Thank you!
Man that looks dry, but you seemed to have good traction. Nice work. Looked fun.
Dry, loose, and deep. It takes an adjustment period to get comfortable in the mammoth kitty litter.
WOAHHHHHH SENT THAT A LITTLE DEEP!!!
Great riding dude 🤙
I just went today it was great

Thanks! The trail at 11:50 is actually the very beginning of Flow.
nice vid! im planning on going in 2023, did you get a lift ticket? not sure how if those come in handy when riding out there
You’ll definitely need a lift ticket to ride the things I rode in this video.
@@ShreddingSpree alright cool. Definitely going to get one. Thanks man! Highly appreciate it
Great riding. Did you put the evo in the low and slack setting?
I ran it slack-high for this trip. It was great.
It is possible to rent bicycles there ?
Yes. In the past they had a variety of Trek bicycles to rent. I don’t know what they have now.
@@ShreddingSpree Thank you
What kind of chest mount setup are you using for your go pro?
I have one but it just points straight at the ground while I am riding my mtb
I use a regular go pro chesty and I hang the camera upside down on the mount. Then I angle it so it’s not facing down when I’m standing up
Is the order of the trails you rode in the video the same as order in the description?
No it’s not in order. 😬
@@ShreddingSpree is it too much trouble for you to put it in order 😅. I'm in Mammoth now and want to copy your run down

@@ShreddingSpree Haha no problem and thank you for putting in the effort. I rode pretty much every trail you listed so mission accomplished 💪🏾

when you compare with what you can get at whistler these look pretty bad.
Whistler is almost impossible to compete with but this terrain is super fun.
