    I love watching you create. I tend to feel really tentative about layering over that first layer, especially if I’m using scraps that I really like. I see how you just play and try things, and it comes together! I’ve never painted over masking tape before… I’ll be trying that real soon. Thanks for this great demo.

    Would you recommend homemade gesso or buying gesso?

      I've never made homemade gesso. So I can really say if it's cost-saving or not. Regular gesso isn't too expensive. The Liquitex basics gesso it a great all-around gesso, comes in many different sizes and you can get it almost everywhere.
