Thank you for this, I have so many stencils that I hardly ever use….but I want to play now! I save the tissue paper they stuff into new shoes, so I have a bunch😂
So many ideas to re-invent some of our basic stencils! I tried stencils on tissue as in one of your videos and found that good quality glue sticks work well for glueing - and torn tissue edges blend well. Thanks for all the ideas!
yes it's a composition notebook from the dollar store I cover the pages with gesso. I call it my nothing journal. Creating in it there's no pressure. I haven't spent a lot of money therefore I'm not afraid to try anything!
So love this series. I just got laid off after 27 years at the same workplace and will have time off to do all of these! So good for the mind, body, and soul! I'm looking forward to it! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for these tips!!!! I have really been frustrated with my stencilling attempts, and I believe that these tips are the solution to the problems I have been having. Also, can you tell me what the blue cloth is that you are using for dabbing and lifting paint? It seems to work so well; I would like to try it myself.
Love your stencils, but they are prohibitively expensive to order if you are not in the US. Shipping ends up being more than the value of the stencils.
I’m blown away with this teaching! I finished Friday and am back again to see what I may have missed. This series will be watched over and over!

Wow so glad I found your channel. How fun‼️. But I don’t understand what you mean when you “stamp” the stencil?
you use your stencil like a stamp. I do it all through the video. I paint the stencil and then stamp it paint side down.

Thanks Cathy, I hope this helps. I use Scott shop towels. They are disposable and yet reusable and don't break down or leave lint.

any kind if I can find it I get it from the dollar store. sometimes white is hard to get there.
