Hell i wonder if we have to go down and search for ganondorf and maybe some of these scenes are just within gameplay of getting down there? I have no idea tho. They need to explain the island, in the 2019 trailer no islands are visible. So, I think/hope we gonna start were we left, exploring with Zelda (as we see in the trailer), map will be pretty much the same, find Ganondorf and then the real adventure will start. Also, we don’t know why link looks so different, it’s not only a « skin » with long hair and more primitive. We never saw this link on the surface either, he was always in the sky or climbing, weird ! Something is going on here. For me, Nintendo are hiding a lot and there I way more than just the old map with new caves and islands.

Honestly... I think there might be 2 Hyrule's/Links, one in the present that has Calamity events that alter his world and another primordial who is the one that Sealed the king in the first place, parallel quests that slowly cleanse future Hyrule and set the primordial up for victory, like AoC.
There's a lot of cut scene and gameplay footage of Link wearing both the Power Glove and the Champion's Tunic before Malice burns away the right side. I feel like there's two scenes separated by a tutorial section happening here, but everybody else is like "nah it's a spare tunic". What do you think?
im honestly not sure but im leaning toward 3 playable characters and somehow we see Link from 10,000 years ago (long hair Link) and we have a present day link. How that works idk.But i am thinking we get a tutorial section that is basically all of botw map but with a few caves. then we go down and wake ganon up, zelda falls and we play as her underground, link in the present gets the power glove and as ganon wakes up more caves open up. and somehow we get the islands to show up as well. im honestly not sure if long hair link is the 10,000 year ago link tho to be honest. cuz... he has the melted master sword so.... that cant be right. i dont think its a spare tunic tho. The whole "Zelda might be dead" theory is silly. Everyone knows when you fall in a hole in a Zelda game you just lose part of a heart and get teleported back to where you fell from. She's gonna be fine

yknow, you calling him Lichendorf got me thinking. A Lich needs a Phylactery to store its soul so it cannot be killed normally. The Moon has been very prominent in BOTW and in the TOTK trailers. I wonder if the Moon is Ganondorf's Phylactery if he is a Lich type being now
my guess is 1 of 2 things. 1. Its a redone cutscene or 2. they fall twice (both Link and Zelda), once is just like 3 feet onto the same platform as dehydrated Ganondorf is on and then they walk over as more malice is exited of his body, and grabs link, hurts him. Things start shaking. Malice is still hurting link, so the green hand is absorbed into link to stop the process. Ganondorf is no longer sealed, and wakes up causing the entire platform to crumble, as they run. Zelda falls, and link falls, and link is grabbed by the green hand and falls to grab Zeldas hand as she falls a second time into a pit. or i could be completely wrong. Theres a lot missing and of course things we dont know. Was some of it redone cutscenes? is it Time manipulation? wont know til the game comes out. But its fun as hell speculating and looking at all the details.
Cool video, but does it take into account how much games change in production? Go back and watch some twilight, princess ads, like the one where he’s running away from the spider underground. Never made it in. I gather that they change the opening scene up a good three or four times since we saw that first preview. I don’t know if it’s possible to piece together a story based on things that have changed or taken out of that clip. You can go back and watch the first one and see that I’ve already made a bunch of changes since then. I hope you’re right, I’m not trying to be combative, I just have a 35 year history of this game, I’m 40 and played every game the day it released, and seen plenty of ads for ocarina of time, twilight princess, etc…there are tons of ads for those games that ended up not looking at all like the game actually released. Perhaps I’m writing this because I hope you’re correct, but it’s hard for me to see it because of my long history with the game and it’s advertisements😢

Like Links arm getting enveloped in malice could be a early placeholder before they destroyed his outfit later in development and could implement it? I love diving into Games and there dev history. I love this stuff lol Like BotW was possibly gonna have a minish town near the Lost woods entrance, from what the Book shows. I had to buy them, all 4 of em. Even got the Kingdom hearts ultimania lol. Plus the scenes that we have yet to see makes it even tougher. A lot of things it could be. I honestly cant wait to get the game just so i can know for sure lmao But yeah i kept that in mind, but wanted to include it just incase they both are still in the game, cuz ganondorf does use his malice while he cant move to attack Link. But in your reply you touched on something I’ve noticed in the new trailers. It honestly looks like the twilight and skyward sword elements of game AND story will be placed in this game. Evidence…look at the bottom half of the master sword, looks repaid in the twilight style. Ganon, when released by the hand, has the exact same wound, he was given at the end of twilight princess. In the shot where the bokblin’s mining, UF you look to the right of him you’ll see the exact same mini blue flames that exactly are design like the souls caught in the twilight, you can also see them in Hatano Village. It almost feels like they’re going to make the reason the zonai are gone is due to the fact that they were caught in the twilight, allowing Gannon to regain power and break free. Up top, it looks like we are repairing and putting back together Skyloft. It’s almost like they’re making a super masterpiece, and I know it that ties together a lot of these big games, and they’re hiding it because that’s an awesome surprise. I do have faith that this is going to be an amazing thing. No doubt. I feel like this is a cycle of birth and renewal, as the cycle ends and resets things to the beginning, giving that team a chance to start fresh next game, opening up main villain opportunities as well as more freedom in locale as well. It feels big. Also, thanks very much for the reply and conversation, this game is my first memory from 35 years ago and then my love ever since. They could even end the game and flood it leading to a Windwaker like game but open world like BotW and TotK. Makes sense to me at least, but i have no reason to really believe it other than "they wanted to reuse the same map again" like with this game. and honestly 6 years? Majora's Mask was in 1 year. I mean they DID just shadow drop Metroid Prime Remaster and it topped the charts. Lich as in demonic being, not the werewolf. Like the "Im undead but cant be killed no matter what you try"
