    Here cometh five OP-1 tips that will make life easier and more fun with your little Operator piece of shit device that you love! (just kidding it's so dope)
    I swear if nobody makes a OP-2 soon we'ma have to grab that dragon by the tail and do it ourselves somehow (no OTTO is not it, even though I have a deep respect for that)

    Best video I've seen on youtube for the OP-1 - makes me want to buy one! Teenage Engineering should take notice.

    I own my op-1 for a year now and 2 of your vids taught me shit I didn’t know yet… thank you sir. Btw can you skip the album to tape part by sampling using the ear and recording the album? I never really used album mode before really. I probably should

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! It's a great wall to throw samples on and bounce them back, especially for longer samples or manipulating them in real time to resample. Don't remember what I said in the video so I might repeat - you can do tape to sampler with the ear but the ear doesn't hear the album in the sampler for some reason unfortunately.

    The thumbnail 😳 bizarre and I love it! How do I learn chords blezz? Just Google/youtube or is there lots of theory for it

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can definitely learn it with just google and youtube! Arguably its still theory, I never studied much theory though. Apart from just figuring shit out by ear, use something like Chordify to play along with your favorite songs. Melodics is pretty dope too from really building from the ground up, and Aimee Nolte is an incredible teacher.

    Hey Blezz Beats, this was a great video. Have been looking to get some help with some issues I'm facing with the OP1. Was wondering if you could suggest what I could do? I haven't used the OP-1 in a while, but recently when I charged the OP-1 & started it, I have been facing issues I never experienced before.
    In the Synth Mode: the blue encoder doesn't select synth-engines, however, all 4 encoders allow me to select the patches in the green list. On pressing the Tape Key, it is directly getting into the Erase Tap function, without having pressed down the Shift key. And when playing the synth, the arrow keys allow me to bend the note, without having to press the Shift key with it. But the arrow keys don't seem to change octaves anymore, it is almost as if the Shift key is pressed down constantly. A similar issue with the Help key, pressing it takes me directly into the tools setting instead of it indicating how much battery I have left. I did, however, do the Factory Reset, but the problems haven't gone away.
    I'm sorry to be bugging you with these queries, but it's fairly difficult to get any help with the OP-1 in India. I came across your video and was wondering if you could suggest what I could do? Any kind of help or advice would be great. And thank you very much for the help in advance.

    • @BlezzBeats
      @BlezzBeats  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Find a friend to do it for you lol. I modded my GameBoy and it took 2 broken ones before I got it right. So if you absolutely must do it yourself (does it involve soldering?) Do some test runs on things that dont matter if they break.

      @@BlezzBeats it seems limiting in terms of tactile controls vs the tracker. it's kinda how i feel about that Aeros Loop pedal which is basically an actual pedalized RC-505 with a screen and 1 more track. Both of these seem cool maybe for someone with space constraints or doing live gigs.
