My dude, u can also record your tape backwards, if you press shift+record, then shift+play. Tape rolls backward while recording. Neat for reversing reverb or whatever u want.

One of the most useful shortcuts! Just make sure those loops are cut right so you have your segments straight and you can easily arrange a whole beat on the fly using much less space on the tape. Glad I could help!

Alexey Kurilo I have! What I do to compensate for it when it happens is turn the gain of the sample up by holding shift and turning the red knob in the sampler. If i resampled into the sampler. It seems like it lands on the same level as the original if you max the rec input level on the tape screen though so check that before you do anything and u should be fine. U also gotta be mindful of the drive.
Bro what the hell just got the op1 and I used up 7 banks sampling but I turn off maybe a minute after taking each sample now I can't get the sample to play or take new ones on the same bank!!!! I factory reset it and no banks cleared and I only have bank 8 to sample in. Please help me clear I haven't experienced the full sample features, thank you anyone??!!
Hard to understand what you mean, the OP-1 doesn't really have sample banks. It has 8 preset slots and those just show the currently loaded presets. Is the sampler still active on those 7 slots? Are we talking about the drum sampler or the synth sampler?

It's just I also ran out of memory on my MacBook so I can't save my opz projects and just copped op1 and drum utility won't open on my MacBook cus not enough meet to install new os so error message saying developer needs to update app. So I got a zoom h5 what's my best upload music scenario to web from macbook

+1 Should've squeezed that in! Might do an addendum. You can also record and scrub the tape in whatever direction with the blue encoder.

Yes there is, can't remember off the top of my head but check the manual on TEs website
Turn off, then holding com, you turn on, and press 7.
