You showed in that day3 the immense potential you have. The oil got to you on day 4 - you can learn from that. You will, I'm sure. Keep at it - you have a gift. Such a blast to watch!
Detroit is loaded with suburbs galore, so I apologize for double-checking - definitely looked like your jaunt to Livonia was with tough oil conditions versus the opening part of the video in Westland......hope you enjoyed your stay in my part of the country of Michigan over these past few days......keep knocking 'em down big time, will look forward to your next competition video, and hopefully you get to bowl more tournaments in Great Lakes territory with even better results......God Bless Always and continued success on the lanes, Malia......
I'm sure I'll be called all kinds of names for my comment because she's only 16, but truth be told, she's exceptionally pretty! And one helluva a bowler!
Love your humility and confidence!!!! My son Blaise just rolled his first 700 series last Friday ,,, been rolling for 41/2 years ,, I told him ,, do not be dissatisfied if you don’t roll another 700 on league night that come no Monday ,,long story short , a horribly showing on league night ,, but a whole lotta high fives from folks that heard about his first 700+ !!!!!! The bowling community is so supportive and friendly
Great job! You will get it next time. God it seemed like some of those just didn't want to fall...Every time you throw it feels like it's gonna be a strike! Really amazing technique!
The Harsh Reality is so good off your hand. These different oil patterns are tough, especially if you're not exposed to them on a regular basis. When I used to go to tournaments, I thought I was playing an entirely different game! 😂😂 I hope one day you'll come to So. Florida so I can meet you 😊❤ I may have to get that Harsh Reality!
Great 228 game! I'm glad you changed balls on the merri lanes they seemed to have a lot of oil, but I like the hip action after you've thrown the ball to make it do right😂
Watching that last block, I noticed that when you got it outside of 5, it would hook more and go through the nose since you were throwing it basically straight up the boards. Seems to me that moving your feet slightly left, setting it down somewhere in the 10-ish area, but aiming it to a break point outside of 5, might have worked, and allowed the ball to grip, hook and then flip and hit the pocket harder. Rather than mostly just sliding into it. Some folks aren't super comfortable with that line, though.
Biggest thing i saw was how the summit hooked off the gutter while everything else went straight. On longer patterns i move up on the approach to slow my speed to give the ball more time on the lane
Start with your money ball the harsh reality it your ball you score high with it everytime. You will get it next time remember harsh reality you can't go wrong
Good third block but just couldn't get out those pesky corner pins in the forth. Still, a solid performance and once again, a great learning experience. Well done!
Didn’t realize how old she was. I feel wrong for that. But her parents should be proud. Don’t get burnt out in this sport. A lot of pros hate it once they’re pro.
I see the ball wasn't breaking like it should had. I blame that on too much oil on the lanes. I see you're trying to make adjustments. But you stayed with it, you're an excellent bowler!
Some thoughts for your coach (dad?) Level shoulders, correct hand position. Your bowler used to loft the ball some, I believe starting with level shoulders and add some loft will stop all of the pull shots and also help keep her hand consistantly in the correct position. Peace!
Malia Briggs, That was a fantastic Vlog Video of Blocks 3 and 4 of the U18 Division in Junior Gold Bowling. Also, The Pattern did look difficult in the 4th Block of Qualifying.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
So question. In practice you wasn’t getting the ball to read early enough but at 8:19 you threw a shot and the gutter hooked. Why didn’t you see what balls looked best off the gutter?
I might not be the first one to comment but one day i would like to see you for being so pro in your field , when you give me reply it means you care about your followers thanks ✅
Good learning experience. For longer patterns, try standing on board 20- target 15, or 18-12 and the margin of error is lower. So try to be accurate and slow down for the ball to bite the lane. For slick lanes, match it up a ball with surface. As the lanes transit to dry or wet dry, ball down with smooth surface. Keep up the good work.
Hang in there kid. I think you need more speed on the ball. Maybe try something a pound or two lighter. Energy goes like mass x speed ^ 2 so speed means a lot more than mass.
I can see you've been working hard your speeds getting better but something you must work on is getting your hand inside the ball, also known as "working the inside of the ball.. your thumb is on the top of your at release causing your hand to flip over the top you can't project the ball accurately.. and your ball roll is inconsistent as I watch it sometimes... there are ways of training or correcting your hand position not involving throwing a bowling ball .. if you throw a football underhanded and try to spin it that's the kind of release you want to duplicate with your bowling ball.. that's the hand position you should be in at release...
it looked like you just werent coming out of the ball clean during the 4th block...but those longer patterns can be tricky at times. keep up the great work and next year will be here be4 you know it
I'm really enjoying your channel, thx for sharing your journey and for putting yourself out there, cheering you on always

It’s a pleasure to watch you bowl, win or lose.
She is a talented child
That smile after a good strike or pick up is priceless 😁❤️🎳
Great job- Harsh Reality was the ball needed- keep up positive attitude and work ethics! 🎉
I can see a huge difference in confidence when throwing the harsh reality
I'm sure I'll be called all kinds of names for my comment because she's only 16, but truth be told, she's exceptionally pretty! And one helluva a bowler!

Nobody wins them all. Just keep on learning and improving.
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
A lot of guys don't even have a hook that smooth
Great 228 game! I'm glad you changed balls on the merri lanes they seemed to have a lot of oil, but I like the hip action after you've thrown the ball to make it do right😂
It looked like you made some friends in Michigan
Good job sweetie ❤❤❤❤❤❤

It is a lot of fun watching you bowl. I think you could increase your scoring if your hand was less on top and more behind the ball at release.
You are the Clark of bowling. You have caused many to enjoy bowling. You have million dollar smile.

What type of beats/music/instrumentals do you use? I love them
Found one y'all. A caring friend by bad snacks

Hi
7:36 DAMN 95?!?!
😎👍you go, girl good luck 🏆🎳🎉
As an ex-bowler, both 10 pin and 5 pin (Canada), her delivery is at the pro level. I'd like to know who her coach is.
Didn’t realize how old she was. I feel wrong for that. But her parents should be proud. Don’t get burnt out in this sport. A lot of pros hate it once they’re pro.
this is the first video i've seen where anyone is cheering. like i never figured out who is recording with no reaction or soul lol
I see the ball wasn't breaking like it should had. I blame that on too much oil on the lanes. I see you're trying to make adjustments. But you stayed with it, you're an excellent bowler!
I have some friends who were in this tournament

Maybe one day 😉
Do you wear black flats when you are bowling
💘💘💘💘💘💘
Wow whit all the rotation she has on her ball you would think it would hook more. Must be a lot of oil on the lanes.
Besides you're so beautiful
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi ya
Do you face Bella here ???
Hy
Game 2 was no bueno… a lot of open frames… would’ve helped if you were playing 9 pin no tap.

I hit an all-time low watching this. I need to make some changes.
I swear you shot 820 on day 3. 217, 192, 183, 228 = 820?
Game 4 was a 228 on screen but it was a 223 on her card
@@Dr.Acula76 thank you
@@michaelmclaughlin1958 No worries! I was confused too so I had to double check
🎳🎳👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰

Just you
I wanna play bowling together with you ❤😊 but in my dreams lol

13:06 is that a sanctioned move?
Oh no, they took your mug shot. It's all over for you now. 🤓😎😝😛😋😅🎳🎺
