In retrospect, every culture, nationality and race asks for something that they don not have. People of the east wants to be white, people at the west wanted to be tanned. One wants to be skinny and others curvy. They think they are rather too short or too tall. It specially has a great impact in the entertainment industry where people are both idolized and criticized.

You forgot one Pinoy artista ploy: some sort of "intriga" or "scandal" or "political endorsement - read: fling with famous or infamous politician". Keep up the interesting vignettes and commentaries - very spot on descriptions!

this is true. we focus more on how an artist can be more of a commodity or commercially accepted than their real talent.. cause maybe it can be developed.
like ur videos... sad that in Philippine entertainment industry more favorable of "mestizo/mestizas" btw I'm not against any Fil-half breeds they are beautiful but sometimes quality is over powered by physical aspects.
