Just start playing leagues and have been working on a Ruby/Amethyst deck. Cards I needed didn't arrive in time but I had almost everything I needed for this deck. Gave it a try and got my first match win with this deck. It's fun as heck to play and opponents commented how fun it seemed, too. I think I'll stick with this one! The way you talk through your decks and plays is very helpful. Thanks!
I think an interesting broom deck pick is magic carpet. It stops evasive. It lores for 1. It moves characters into broom tower for free threatening to increase your lore gains the next turn.
I've always liked the concept of Carpet. Only issue is he throws off your Yen Sid line but if you don't see the one drop Broom you are ok with that anyway. Good tech!
I added trumpeteer mickey and some bodyguards. This made it posible to keep yen sid and mickey in game for longer. The 6broom and grey mickey had to go for that.
Bold move with the Trumpeter Mickey! Haven't seen that card get much use. But it sounds really effective. Nice work. As time has gone on Grey Mickey has become less and less in my eyes. So hard to actually get him out to do something.
I don't know i I'll have time for a full video but I can point some cards out. With no brooms the decks didn't get much love this set. Some cards to consider are Cogsworth 1 cost and Elsa 5 cost to assist with challenging. In steel the only one that really stands out is Pete the Referee so you can avoid board wide effects like Grab Your Sword and Be Prepared.
Really fun deck. Have you thought about possibly dropping the steel sorcerer mickey in exchange for some more one drops? the deck seems a bit slow to start if you dont pull a 1 drop broom, and dont have many options for turn 2 if you dont have a target for mim snake
You 100% can drop the Mickey. I wanted to try him out and WHEN he's good, he's quite good. BUT it has to be less then 20% when he actually pulls his weight. At least it's inkable :P
A local weekly? Absolutely. A Set Championship? I'm less sold on that. IF you are very lucky and can consistently hit your aggressive opening I think it can absolutely beat up on some of the slower decks. But I'm not sure how it plays into Bucky Discard.
when in the first game you draw the seven cards, you have a baboom that isn't in the list on dreamborn. during the game you also inki a broom costing 6 that you don't bring in the list... my question is is this list the final one or one you tested?
The list on dreamborn was the final version. I usually make a few minor changes as I go through the testing and recording process. I liked the big 6 broom but felt it ultimately didn't bring enough to the deck to keep it so I cut it from the final list. Good question!

@@rudrose_tcg Okay now I understand. I want to apologize for not giving you the props you deserve before asking a question. I never played TCG before Lorcana. I only started because my eight year old daughter quickly became obsessed with it, so I jumped on board. My mind was blown when the last chapter came out. With people like yourself educating others, people like me might have a chance!
The Bruno is a lot of quick lore if you are guessing correctly. It's hard to argue with the consistency of the Mim/Merlin package but you should play the version that makes you happy :)
@rudrose_entertainment that's why I run Ursulas cauldron Bruno hits 100 percent of the time with that but im super curious to try your build which I'm 100 percent going to.
@@geniusmclg5181 Sisu destroys most of the brooms. iceblock sisu banishes your mickeys while ready. Medusa can banish any character in that deck. Be prepared can be played as soon as turn 4 when ramping. Good luck ;)
I went back and checked and sadly I was two lore shy. IF I had drawn a Broom for turn, I could have played it, turned Yen Sid up to 3, and then move him and Rabbit there to quest for 8 which is exactly 20. But by the time I got to the broom I was out of ink to move them over :(

Thanks man! I'm so glad to hear that! The Yen Sid is so satisfying if you get to open with it. Hope it keeps bringing you success!
Finally building the brooms. I’ve wanted to build a broom deck since the beginning.

This deck already has a 2 drop evasive and brooms move to sorcers tower for free anyway dont they?
@@all23day61 Also a fair point. Good for carrying to Castle but that does seem redundant with Tower.
@@all23day61 the sorc tower says brooms go here free. All characters get more lore. This gets non-brooms the bonus without the 2 lore cost

Just gonna comment on that Final Fantasy music 👌
Good ear! I don't know if many pick up on the background music.

That sounds fun!

This is a program called Pixelborn which sadly does not exist anymore :(

Can you make a current version with set 5 cards? This deck saved my fun❤

Over here watching n listening to video and suddenly it dawned on me I was listening to fugging Limsa Lominsa. 🤣
You know your FF14, a player of culture I see :)
I’m confused. How did you mulligan a Ba-Boom when it’s not part of the list you showed at the beginning of the video?
I do a lot of matches for the recording and the original version of the list had the Baboom in there, but I decided to cut it as I kept tinkering.

If you could return the 1 drop broom with Mickey you could have an infinite loop with 2 1 drop broom and 1 Mickey.
That's a fair point, that would be pretty busted.
