I have a Loam on my Sight but it has quite a bit of rotational deviation that really annoys me. I went with Oneup on my other bikes and I find them to be a better choice.
I like your idea of sticking with Canadian companies but I’d have to say OneUp has the best aesthetics and less distracting graphics which make them stand the test of time and look more higher end. The OneUp logo font and design just look clean and easy on the eyes.
I agree but TBH don't care much about the design as long as it's not too in my face. We initially bought the PNW as an alternative to v1 OneUp that wasn't stellar for us. Plus PNW was lighter so when installing on XC race bikes that made the difference.
I own both and love them, but where are their Range alu bars at? They've been out of stock for almost a year!!! I love my Range bar with 10° back sweep and need another! What's going on PNW!?
Interesting, ive been after a decent dropper for a while,my question is this, any side to side movement? I wouldnt need the lever,as i have a hope dropper lever, which in my opinion is without doubt, the best dropper post lever you can buy.
@@camperp195 no side to side from new but my Loam did develop a bit of that in time. Not a deal breaker though. And if you don’t need the lever why not look at the Loam?
@@LoveMTB Not sure what you mean - but my Pivot had a Fox Dropper with Kashima and it had problems in the 1st year - even after factory warranty. Turns out the entire pivot shop was replacing their personal Pivot Bike Fox Kashimas with other brands.
To be honest it's a first time I'm disappointed by your video. I basically don't care about the weight of dropper post especially in the budget segment. But I would rather know dimensions and especially in comparison with One Up and Loam dropper. Insertion length for each size, stack height... And yes, I know I can check it in official documentation. But it's kinda main things for droppers... Worth mentioning.
I lent a neighbour my spare PNW dropper post and lever a couple of years ago. Haven't seen it since, I think he likes it 😂

So much better than fox droppers.
Same design so the same as the current Fox?

@ I’ve had only first generation and second not the current one. Second gen was a bit sticky to start with works fine now
Antidote build when?
Coming, just talked about it yesterday 😉
Range vs Loam ?
Have most of that in the video don’t I? And for us it’s been Loam

Or you could spend two minutes reading the specs available online rather than being "disappointed".
@@Lenser Along those lines, I tried to provide you folks the info that's not available, not what can be seen in plain pdf docs from the manufacturer.
Unwarranted Post - I'd rather know things I can't find online easily.
