When you get a chance to see Nemophila's Kiss cover of *"Detroit Rock City".* Nemophila wore the Kiss makeup. But since there were only 4 members in Kiss but 5 in Nemophila at that time. Former guitarist Saki (right of Mayu) wore a Kissified (less Horror looking) of the guitarist in Seikima-II that inspired her to learn to play metal.
Love this song and cover! I have to sing praises to my favorite bsss player, Haraguchi-sun! Her bass just filled the background with awesome sound and her make up was fit her so well. Her eyes were frickin cool.
Nemophila does a cover of KISS's "Detroit - Rock City" wearing KISS makeup - and they are definitely having fun, especially when the shout out, "Detloit! Lock City!" And Tamu is really into the KISS cat makeup and is grinning ear to ear.
A great Nemophila's cover, one of the best. Saki is a huge fan of Seikima II. Three of Saki's favorite guitarists: Brian May, Ace Shimizu, Luke Takamura, Ace and Luke play in Seikima II. Here Saki performs in Luke's makeup. Saki plays shis oldest guitar Killer (Killer KG-Fascist Grave Stone), a guitar like that used to be played by Luke. The cover was recorded before a joint performance with Demon Kakka (vocalist of Seikima II). Hazuki wears the makeup of the third guitarist, Jail O'Hashi. Tamu recreates Raiden Yuzawa's facial expressions in a few moments. The only mistake was mayu's hairstyle. I was hoping it would be like Demon Kakka usually has. Luckily, mayu went all out when she did the Slang cover. SLANG / 何もしないお前に何がわかる 何もしないお前の何が変わる [Cover by NEMOPHILA] th-cam.com/video/hBUh4lXVyhY/w-d-xo.html
WOW! I didn’t expect you to site the Grudge. Honestly, I hadn’t watched the movie in 10 years, until the recent uploads by my service. The Grudge is on of my favorite horror movies. Of course this is Nemophila and they will slay every cover. For the newbies, they outshine every band I have heard in 50 years. Nemophila has many covers that always pay tribute to the originals. Their originals are simply on a next level (IMO). ❤️🌸
"Sadako vs Kayako" translates to "The Ring vs The Grudge" cross over between the two movies. It was made in Japan in 2016.. Oh and another Horror connection is that Drummer Tamu is married to Akira Yamaoka, the soundtrack composer to the "Silent Hill" movies and video games. You'll see her wearing Silent t-shirts and she even dressed up a the character Pyramid Head in their recent Halloween cover this year.
In the Kiss cover of Detroit Rock City, Nimophila all had makeup like the members of Kiss, except Saki. She had face paint like the vocalist of the Japanese band.
@@Dead-EyeMetal The color is true to KISS, and the pattern is from Ace Shimizu. I think she changed the color so her makeup wouldn't stand out too much. After all, it was about KISS, not Seikima II or Saki herself.

In the KISS cover, Saki has his face painted like guitarist Ace Shimizu (Seikima II).
@@musicaconqueror5477 Ah. Thank you. =)
@@musicaconqueror5477 But not the same colour as Ace's, which kind of baffled me.!

@@musicaconqueror5477 You're probably right.
But on that basis, I wonder why she didn't just use one of the remaining KISS designs ...
Can you hop up and down and sing at the same Time!! I know one other major singer that can do it.
