It's interesting how the poor level of some "reactors" becomes evident when the quality of the band they react to is far superior to their musical culture. 😃 This reactor did not understand at all what he was seeing and not a single valuable or interesting concept came out of his mouth... not that I'm surprised, I've never seen a reaction from him that impresses or moves me. 😜
Homura = flame, Is a Machiya instrumental, a song from before he joined the Wagakki Band. He mostly only uses the mask on his instrumental songs that are played only at concerts, when Yuko takes a little break. Homura is never performed the same from tour to tour. You will find at least 5 different versions of it with and without Beni and Kurona. Akatsuki No Ito = Thread of dawn, is also written by Machiya. The song is used by the audience as an encore chant. I also think it is included in all the concerts they have held since it was written.
That was a good livestream. As someone mentioned already Yuko studied the art of the sword to a high level. Sometimes she uses her sword on stage instead of the fan, just using the same movements. If you look at her hair she also has what looks like an assassin’s tool kit stuck in the back!!!
@@DofNE99 That would be Cloud from the game Final Fantasy 7. And I'm pretty sure he's not actually dressed like him, it's just the hair that's kinda similar.
@ Thanks for that, as I say, I’m not a follower of Anime so I was repeating what others have said. Some people have said that the writing that he has down his back is a reference to Cloud. At the end of the day he’s a damn good drummer!!!

Additionally, she has also studied 剣詩舞 (Kenshibu=Dance with a sword & fan to 詩吟Shigin) since she was a child. She also studied piano at the Tokyo College of Music, and is a very experienced and talented songwriter. Beni Ninagawa (蜷川べに) - 津軽三味線tsugaru shamisen=The shamisen is a three-stringed Japanese instrument played by striking the strings with a plectrum, known as 撥bachi. Tsugaru-shamisen refers to both the Japanese genre of shamisen music originating from Tsugaru Peninsula in present-day Aomori Prefecture and the instrument it is performed with. Tsugaru-shamisen is characterized by fast and furious playing, which sets it apart from the usual traditional shamisen music, but it also goes well with rock and metal music, so it is not uncommon for Tsugaru-shamisen to perform and compete with those fields. The koto is known as “Japanese harp”, traditional Japanese stringed instrument similar to a zither. The shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese longitudinal, end-blown flute that is made of bamboo. The wadaiko is Japanese drum.
The eight band members are all virtuoso level musicians that got together to make music mixing western and eastern instruments. You should check out their cover of Bring Me To Life, performed with Amy Lee. The music is great. The voices are out of this world.
I already subscribed to your TH-cam channel because I like your The Warning (and some other) reactions and I like your style. I'm glad you got 't Wagakki Band. I myself got into them through their cover of Evanescence's Bring Me To Life featuring Amy Lee herself and their own song Senbonzakura with Amy too. From there on I dove in and I want to thank Frank Garcia for posting most of their songs with English subtitles. I would suggest you check out Hakushu Kassai, a song in which the band introduces themselves, Yoshiwara Lament and Synchronicity from their Dai Shinnenkai (Big New Year Party) concert 2022 ( the year is important because they did more Dai Shinnenkai concert. As a full concert I suggest the 2018 one.)
I really enjoyed reading your comment Ronald. I appreciate your support and suggestion. I'm thinking of doing a Japanese Only livestream soon and probably will hit Wagakki band again 🤘🧸
You should see their cover of Senbonzakura. It has like 160 million views or something. Senbonzakura is 1000 Cherry Trees. The lyrics are pretty spicy. It's about the turbulent reformation of Japan in the early 1900s. It's a classic Vocaloid song from 2009.
"Wagakki Band" was formed by main vocalist Suzuhana Yuko, who wanted to spread Japanese classical performing arts to the world with a more pop image. Their music is a mix of J-Rock, J-Pop, Japanese classical music, and jazz, so it's difficult to categorize it into a genre. This video is from their first live performance, but they have since held concerts in Europe and the United States, achieving great success.
Great reaction. Anyway, can i request your reaction to superb band from japan? The band is call "Lovebites" They all The Beautiful Queens Metal band right now in the earth. They are really really World class musicians. Phenomenal. And they have a lot die hard fans too. The song is "Set the world on fire" Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏

I didn't mention it in the videos but the drummers tattoos are pretty phenomenal as well. Total warrior vibes and I dig it 🙏🤘🧸
@ He’s actually dressed as the character “Cloud” from a popular anime show. I don’t follow anime so I’m not sure which one.
