diction is an artistic choice, in either the original or a cover. I certainly would prefer being able to hear every word of a Michael Jackson song, but it was his style (and my other artists').
@@LV-ii7bi It's more of a natural style of a person than a deliberate artistic choice. Some people naturally speak very clearly while other people mumble.
Same thing with singing. To some singers clean comes easily and naturally. Other singers' natural voice is muddy like Eddie Vedder's.

I was in high school and college when this song came out and was popular. I must say you captured the spirit of Gwen Stefani and No Doubt very well. Very well done.
This song is a lot angrier than I ever realized before.
You never disappoint. As you sing you always annunciate so we hear the words and meaning besides a marvelous voice. This band is the real deal.

I think the heart of this song is mostly about the attitude. Hard to top Gwen and No Doubt for that but this was still a very good cover.
You have this gift of a very powerful voice that's crystal clear. I could understand every word of the lyrics and it gave me a new appreciation for this song. Don't get me wrong, the No Doubt version of this song is great, and I like Gwen Stefani's voice. But this version is just far superior.

I would back off the vocal compression a bit as it takes away from it's overall dynamics and makes it sound a little sterile... Keep up the great work! Looking forward to your next new song!

Ya killed it! Best cover of this song I've heard in a long time. I appreciate it when songs covered by artists dont try to go verbatim but inject their own talents and heart into it.
