How is it that with this much vocal and instrumental talent (and cuteness), IMY2 isn't at the absolute top of the charts? I'm both amazed and confused at the same time? Oh yeah amazing mix.
Finally I was able to listen to some songs with headphones on. This song specifically I never noticed the subtle production before. I was so blown away by the super postive vibe and Annalise's beautiful smile, even Cal singing along in the back with a smile on his face. Serious party vibes and again something I would have never known without IMY2.

She seems to annunciate lyrics better than the originals so I can actually understand the lyrics and realize I've been misunderstanding them for decades. Yet, it's completely fresh and doesn't dilute the songs at all. Plus, she's devastatingly beautiful.
You are most definitely right. Her phrasing and pronunciation is extremely precise, while remaining with a lightness and freshness with her tone. The tempo of this song is grueling. I know, because I've tried it. A lot of it is just work, is my guess, putting in the hours. Still, I very much respect her craftsmanship and talent.
