    For my study I'm using Ordinal Regression (PLUM) test to determine the influence of Socio demographic factors to my Likert scale questions. Is that better than using other tests that you've shown in the research design question?

      Because the problem with me using Ordinal Regression (PLUM) test is that I have to create separate tables for each social demographic data and these tables take almost a full page because it calculates the significant difference of every Likert scale level, The study I'm using for reference has a much cleaner and simplified (PLUM) table and I don't know how they managed to edit out.
      Therefore, I was reconsidering using the specialized tests mentioned in the research 57:25 as their results tables are smaller and it seems it stills allows me to determine the research question which is "determining the social demographic influences on the attitudes towards non-native birds"

      It depends on the specific research question and the nature of the data. Ordinal regression (PLUM) is a suitable test when the dependent variable is ordinal (i.e., the response options on a Likert scale are ordered) and the independent variables are categorical or continuous if your research question is focused on examining the relationship between socio-demographic factors and a Likert scale variable, ordinal regression may be an appropriate choice. However, other tests may also be suitable depending on the specific research question and the nature of the data. For example, if you want to examine the difference in means between groups, a t-test or ANOVA may be appropriate.it is important to choose the appropriate statistical test based on the research question, the nature of the data, and the assumptions underlying the test. It is always a good idea to consult with a statistician or data analyst to ensure that you are using the most appropriate test for your research question.

    Thank you so much for your valuable lecture. If you don't mind, could you please explain about the scale of item deleted? I'm still confused about it. And can I check the reliability for each item of questionnaire and if alpha value is less than .4, how can I improve the questionnaire, sir?

      Welcome. Scale if item deleted is used when the Cronbach alpha is below .70. It is used to improve the reliability score.

      You will not code it first, then test its reliability and validity before proceeding to composite score computation along with regression tests.

    Dear sir if we take mean, range and standard deviation of continuous variable like age and mean is 23, range is 26 and standard deviation is 6. Can u plz tell me what does it mean?

      The mean, range, and standard deviation are all measures of central tendency and variability for a continuous variable like age. The mean, in this case, is 23, which means that the average age of the sample is 23 years old. The range, in this case, is 26, which means that the difference between the highest and lowest ages in the sample is 26 years. The standard deviation, in this case, is 6, which means that the ages in the sample deviate on average 6 years away from the mean. This measure of variability tells us how spread out the ages are in the sample.
